Sorry your dad is poorly @bubbs, hope hes well looked after and sorted soon@annabanana82, re your diagnoses, are they 100% sure? Im not being funny but I was suffering pins and needles and numbness in my right hand for ages, and the GP had it down as neuropathy , due to my alcohol intake and that was it. I had a trapped nerve in my neck, which got sorted when I went to a physio under my own steamThe same symptoms came back again when I had a fall in December, but at least then I was treated as a whiplash injury, not just told I drank too muchOh, I do drink to much but it is what it isI really dont know what happened tonight, my meeting is 7 pm. For some reason I turned up at 8pm.!!!Still I got weighed in and 2.5 OFF
Im over the moon with thatAnd I celebrated in style - a white bread roll, chicken, rocket, dairylea AND CrispsIve been wanting crisps for so long and refusing to use syns on them so gone without. I hightailed it back to Tesco where they were reduced, bought just one bag ( I used to buy 2 or 3 at a time and these were grab bag size, not share bag so in my head I did well ) came home and didnt even take my coat of before that bad boy was madeMore calories and fat in that then I have had all week, maybe month , but it was wonderful
I shall regret it later no doubt, the wind will kill meIm so happy with 2.5 I want to do the happy dance0 -

That's a great result @Longwalker! 👏👏👏 Don't worry about the crisps, you've got all week to see them off. 😊
Sorry to hear about your dad @bubbs. Such a shame when he'd waited s long to get home. Hopefully they'll get it under control quickly. 🤗
Hope you're managing OK with your hand @annabanana82 and not too painful. 😊1 -
Morning all, looks to be another beautiful bright day. No need to go out today so will spend some time in the garden.
Well done on your loss @Longwalker and like @maman says don't worry about your "treat" you can see that off over the coming week by making sure you stick to plan.
So sorry your dad is back in hospital @bubbs. Do hope he's not in there long this time, I know both he and your mum want him to be at home.
I'm another who keeps getting pins and needles in my fingers but haven't even been able to get a Drs appointment - the appointments are always gone by the time I get through on the phone and you can't make appointments in advance - it's a stupid system. It's always a telephone call with a nurse or paramedic first and they decide if they think the Dr needs to speak to you - he then decides whether he needs to see you or whether to just prescribe something for you! I need to pop down to the surgery this morning to pick up a prescription so will try for an appointment then but no doubt they'll all be gone by then but we'll see!
So today's plan:
B - almond baked oats, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries - HEB; S; F; 2
L - vegetarian scotch egg salad - P; S; F
D - fish pie or fish pasta bake - P; S; F; 4 (not sure if I've got enough potatoes if I haven't I'll do the pasta bake!)
HEA1 and 2 - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - 4 for cheese sauce mix; 2 for flaked almonds
Have a good day everyone.1 -
Morning all,
Well done on your loss @Longwalker x
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis @annabanana82 - what can be done to help the symptoms, have they said?
Oh no @bubbs, so sorry to hear your DDad is back in hospital. Keep us updated and sending hugs xx
My Dad is in the UK until mid-August @maman and spending alternate weeks with us and DSis. He's no trouble but does like to take politics which we don't always align on. Not sure whether it's his age or the paper he reads(!) but I think we are just more tolerant of people/situations. At the end of the day, I'm lucky to still have him
Food today:
B - poached egg, mushrooms, spinach, 1 x WM toast, grapes - P, S, 1/2 HEB
L - JP, baked beans - 1, free
D - diet cola chicken with rice - free
HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - skinny bar
Syns - 1
