Morning all, another beautiful day so have put a machine load in to wash.  Might as well get it out on the line before I have to go out.  Off to get my waxing done - this was as late as my lady could do it before my holiday as she's off tomorrow and won't be back until into June by which time we'll be away!

Great bargain with the beetroot @bubbs - definitely very cheeky saying 50p!  I'm sure they'll taste even better for being such a bargain!

    Today's menu plan:

    B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
    L - jacket potato; LO lamb dhansak - P; S; F
    D - liver, bacon, onions, mash, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all!  I have returned from the North West after an amazing time.  Eurovision show on Wednesday was epic, so much so that it kind of ruined watching things back on TV, nothing like being in the arena with everyone!  It felt like Liverpool totally embraced Eurovision; music, glitter and sequins everywhere and a real positive festival vibe.  Even managed to sneak in a lovely trip into Lancashire to catch up with my best friend and her husband.  Food and drink were a bit hit and miss but I actually ended up with a 1.5lb loss 🤯😏 so just a stone to go till target!

Attended a conference yesterday and then back to "proper" work today.  Even managed to get a run in on Monday and planning on another one this evening.

For ease we ordered another Gousto box for the week and it's mainly veggie and vegan meals so should be good for us (lots of pizza was consumed last week.)

Breakfast was an apple and ff yogurt, lunch is some lentil curry from the freezer and dinner is a vegetarian lasagne and salad.

Hope everyone is doing well and has a good day.

    Hi all,

I'm in the office being secret squirrel. I used the Quark up last night instead of adding single cream to the pasta dish, so free. Did have some caterpillar cake though as it was nephew's birthday - oops.

Thanks for the Pepsi Max heads up @bubbs - will send DH!!
Welcome back @ruby_eskimo sounds like you had an amazing time!
17lbs @bubbs - was it a detox retreat with colonic irrigation?! The mind boggles......
I meal plan for dinners but otherwise just wing it.

    Food today:
B - overnight oats, mullerlight vanilla, cherries - HEB, 0.5, free
L - LO chilli con carne, grapes - free
D - spag bol, parmesan - free, HEA
    HEA - milk
Syns - skinny bar plus 0.5 so 3.5 total

Managed to get a wash load done and on the line before work, so will be ironing that tonight. DH off to the pub so just DDad and I. Think DH needs the break. Nowt like someone living abroad on a UK pension telling you what's wrong with the UK to drive you to drink!!!

    Have a good day all

Thanks for the heads up on the Pepsi Max @bubbs - Im hightailing down to Tesco now :)

I actually bought 6 bottles of the freeway max yesterday - down to just 44p for the 2 litres, but cans are great to have as well for car journeys and Mr L's lunch box

Weigh in today for me. Unfortunately what I was happy about on Friday hasn't carried over the weekend  - it was very boozy - but even if I register a pound off Ill be happy, as long as its off and not on :)

Ive overnight oats made up but still not hungry yet. Last night I had a huge portion of pasta with the half tin of tuna I had left, loads of pepper and 20g of parmesan. Absolutely way OTT, no speed , no nothing yesterday.

Ive boneless/skinless chicken thighs for tea tonight, I will be having a huge plate of salad with them cos time I get back from group I will be starving.

Now I never took any measurements before I started this journey so cant say for sure theres much of a difference yet, but the belly below the waist is definitely a lot smaller , belly above the waist - I dont think thats ever going to shift

So pleased you had a good time in Liverpool @ruby_eskimo. The Gusto order sounds like a good idea to get you back to healthy eating. 👍🏼

It can be wearing having house guests @Coxy11, however much we've been looking forward to seeing them. How long is your dad staying?🤔

🤞🏼 for a good result at WI @Longwalker. I don't know if you like fruit but one of the things I used to do if  short on Speed was eat a couple of satsumas between meals. These days I've just got into the habit of thinking up ways of adding Speed to everything. I'd probably have sliced a few spring onions and mushrooms into your pasta last night .🤔

I suspect some of the reason your 25% off wine is still there @joedenise is because you've been away! 🤣 I tend to buy mine in Sainsbury's but most of the supermarkets seem to run these offers fairly regularly. It's hard to keep up! 😁

I've put Bolognese in the SC today as I'm using the last freezer portion later. While I was prepping the veg, I kept some aside for a Spanish omelette. It was delicious with such a range of Speed in there, along with a small potato. It's made for a bit of an eggy day but no matter.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, ham, scrambled eggs (P), HEA1 milk for drinks
    L- Spanish omelette (P, F,S), beetroot and cornichons (S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,F,S), HEA2 Parmesan

I'll be ending the day on about 15 syns left over from the syn bank. Hopefully that's enough to cover most of the scone and sandwich I had on Sunday but tomorrow's a fresh start. I'm thinking of going to WI in a week's time.  🤔

Sorry to hear about your Dad @bubbs, hope he gets the treatment he needs and is on the mend soon.

My diagnosis was a very "technical" 5 minute call on the telephone, reading the leaflet they've sent through and from what you've said it's only very mild. I am a little confused though as the guidance indicates its secondary rather than primary. If that's the case then I have no idea what the primary could be. I feel otherwise healthy so not sure if I should pursue this or not.
It's literally just one index finger that keeps going numb, occasionally my arm, and once my foot whist in the fridge aisle in Tesco.

    just googled and says this
There are two types of Raynaud's: primary – when the condition develops by itself (this is the most common type) secondary – when it's caused by another health condition
