At least you have an appointment  @bubbs. 👍 Unfortunately, your knee is probably affected by the way you're walking with your bad foot, not that I'm a medical expert. It must be so painful and difficult when you've so much to do. 🤗

    Hi all.

Hope you all had a nice weekend! Monday morning comes round so fast! Saw my parents on Saturday and have also been doing garden and painting fence panels.

@Longwalker my older daughter eats a lot ready meals unfortunately and OH eats things like chicken kievs, fish cakes, high syned stuff. Younger daughter works shifts at Nando’s and isn’t at home.

@annabanana82 I was going to reply to you on something, but can’t remember what it was! I have tried finding the post, but can’t find it now. If I remember or find it, I will post again.

    Oh well!

Have a good day all. xx

Morning all, it's been raining overnight and still very grey at the moment.  Was going to do some more washing today but have decided to leave it until tomorrow when the weather is forecast to be a bit better - it's currently showing cloudy for most of the day and getting sunny around 8pm!  Bit late to hang out washing then of course!

Sorry to hear you've got covid @annabanana82, hope you're not feeling too ill with it.

@bubbs - for someone who says they did sweet FA you seem to have done a fair amount of cooking!  Glad you've got an appointment for next month but in the meantime all you can do is rest your foot as much as possible.  The biggest problem is that anything wrong with your feet affects the rest of your body.  DH has got problems with both knees which in turn is causing pain with his hips and lower back.  Sitting still is the worse thing for him as he stiffens up so he's still playing golf which helps a bit while he's playing but is then in pain during the evening.  He's been waiting for an appointment for several months now but has at least had a referral letter and that says if he hasn't heard by 11 May to contact them so he's going to call them today to see if he can sort out an appointment which fits around our holidays!!!

I had a letter from the hospital on Saturday for a follow up appointment but I've no idea what it's for!  Need to phone to find out what it's for.  I'm waiting for an appointment for an out patient clinic but have already been told that's unlikely to happen before the end of the year so don't think it's that.

    Today's plan:

    B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
    L - mushroom omelette; salad - P; S; F
D - lamb dhansak, rice - P; S; F (using up LO lamb from yesterday - will also add some spinach as got a bag in the TGTG bag the other day)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may end up having some chocolate or a cereal bar later

    Have a good day everyone.
