It's a difficult one with Covid @bubbs. It's the last thing he needs with a chest infection but I do hope your mum gets some rest tonight. 🤞
That's really appalling @beanielou. I can understand someone swearing AT the scales but not calling you a disgusting word. ☹️
Shame about the bloating @annabanana82. It can affect weightloss but it's not a real gain IYSWIM. It'll go when hormones settle down.0 -
@beanielou I am really shocked at the swearing. That is disgusting!Has the consultant said anything to them?Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

Morning all.
Good to hear your dad is back home @bubbs but sorry to hear he has another infection. Hope the antibiotics help soon and that your mum manages to get some rest.
I think some people's behaviour has deteriorated over the last couple of years @beanielou but there's no call for calling other people names they're the one who's to blame for their gain etc. Hope the consultant said something to her!
Car needs new clutch, gearbox and cambelt 😳 which is more money that I want to think about right now but so grateful I have an emergency fund to cover it, and may or may not be done for Tuesday 🙄. We're driving up Wednesday, have tickets for the Jury show Wednesday night and then coming back Sunday 🤞 So will wait and see what happens.
Managed to go for a run last night which made me feel a lot better about everything and going to do a workout this evening too. Breakfast was yogurt, granola and apple, lunch is some random veg soup I got out the freezer this morning and dinner is veggie noodle stir fry.

OUCH to the work needed on the car @ruby_eskimo. ☹️ I hope you'll enjoy Liverpool. If you have time (and like paintings, 🤔) do go to the Walker Gallery and a guided tour of St George's Hall is interesting too.
I hope to see the film @Coxy11. We don't go to the cinema that often but it looks good. I notice the pork is on the menu again. 😋 Hope your dad enjoys it.
How appropriate to call them the three witches @beanielou. You can do a Lady Macbeth on them. 🤣🗡️
I had some tinned kippers at lunchtime. I bought them to try ages ago. Lovely, smoky flavour. Shame they're much more expensive than sardines or mackerel.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk. berries (S), banana (F)
L- lentil soup (P, S), kippers (P), beetroot (S)
D- salmon (P), sweet potato chips (F), roast cauliflower, green stuff (S)

Evening all
Thanks everyone, yes Mum had a good night, when they gt in she slung some scampi and chips in the oven as hadn't eaten all day! Ate that and fell asleep, Dad woke her at 10.15 to go bed 😍 they didn't get up till 9.30!
When i spoke to her today she sounded absolutely knackered, trouble is she never took any pills till last night so can hardly move 😣 she said she just washed Dad's sh@@ty clothes where his stoma had all leaked up the hopsital and that's all she had done.
Lisa the stoma nurse came to see them after i left yesterday and has given her some sticky things called bananas to use along the sticky things she uses now and so far today no leakage 👏👏she is going back to see them next week.
Ruby ouch about the car!
Well i rang the doctors this morning for a telephone appointment i was on hold 59 mins!!! then she goes oh you could come in this morning 🙄 the only bloody day i can't! anyway had a double telephone appointment as needed to discuss two things and only allowed to discuss one 🙄 I am being referred about my foot again and she thinks i have Raynaud's which i suspected a couple of years ago but then of course covid struck and i did nothing about it but it is really bothering me now 😥so blood tests for that, least it is being investigated now, my left hand and half way up my arm is ice old all the time and my nails go purple, my right hand 2 of my fingers go white and numb like they are dead 😱

Thanks for the heads up on the Ryvita @bubbs. I'll look in Farmfoods tomorrow. I usually take some on holiday to have with breakfast in our apartment. It helps cut down on the bread as it's the only meal I have that's SW friendly. 😁
Is it possible that it's Reynaud's in your arm as well as your foot? 🤔 Apparently it's aggravated by stress and you've had plenty of that!
We thoroughly enjoyed our sweet potato chips tonight. Made a nice change.
Good that your mum and dad had a good night's sleep but she really needs to look after herself. I'm sure you've told her that. 🤗0 -
Not not in my foot in my hands and arms, it's been ongoing way before all this.
My foot is arthritis and a ganglion, i had steroid injections in it before i need more , i didn't realise how much it helped till it's worn off, that's why i have orthotics in my shoes. At the weekend i could hardly walk when we got back to the hotel because my knee was so swollen from walking odd because of my foot 🙄
I have told her that and she has accepted they need help at least once a day to help Dad get dressed as he sometimes has a job and she can't bend to put his socks onSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0
