    Morning all.

Hope ever is well. Thank you for all your kind messages. DD is doing well and feeling loads better. Went with her to her follow up appt at the Hospital on Tuesday. They took some more bloods and a swab of her tonsils as they were covered in white spots, but that has since cleared up. She came back with another 5 days of antibiotics.

She had an electronic letter come from the hospital and she has a telephone appt with Doctor she saw next Tuesday. They weren’t really sure what it was at hospital, but her sick note for work says Tonsillitis. Hopefully they will have more info on this telephone appt.

I didn’t go to SW last Thursday, so really not sure what the scales will say as I have been so bad this week. I am a stress eater unfortunately.

Sorry I haven’t tagged anyone in individually - I have read your comments, but I do have trouble remembering who everyone is. I’m so sorry. I’m not ignoring you all.

    Speak to you soon. xx

    Morning all,

Lovely sunny day here in Kent.

Glad that DD is getting better @Abbafan1972 and good luck for WI later when you go. I'm not looking forward to Saturday as we are out for curry tomorrow night. I could possibly string it out for another week or two actually. We shall see!

Dinner tonight according to DH's mealplan is massaman curry. He is in Birmingham today so that's nice and easy for me to cook. DS2 is still here and not due back to uni until early May when he has exams. He's still very upset over his breakup but is doing himself the world of good by going for a run every couple of days and seeing his friends. Proud of him :)

First lot of hike washing is on the line and I've another to put on now. Love the smell of line dried washing!!
    Have a good day all

    Morning all.

Well done on the loss to you and your son @SingleSue

Good to see you back @Coxy11 and to get straight back to work amazes me - I know I couldn't have done it!

Spicy pork and aubergine was so good @maman that I'm having the leftovers for dinner this evening too 😋  Just pork mince and aubergine (I used baby ones), "fried" and then add a mixture of soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, chilli flakes and a bit of cornflour in water and just let it simmer and thicken.  Served with some rice and pickled cucumber on the side.

So that's dinner sorted, breakfast was ff yogurt with blueberries and lunch is going to be poached eggs on toast.

Hope everyone has a good day, best get back to work!

Totally amazing and inspiring @SingleSue you and middle son must be soooo pleased.

Congratulations on being an Ambassador @beanielou I keep forgetting to look at the local money saving pages but will now!

Wow @Coxy11 I'm exhausted reading your post and the walk sounds fantastic but 😢😢 to be back at work so soon (was looking for shocked face but have limited emoji choice on laptop!).

Well at long last, a financial matter that's been causing a fair amount of stress and concern, has been resolved. Had a 'few' celebratory wines last night which also included some crisps. Apart from a bit of a sore head don't regret it and back on plan today.

Today's food (including plenty of water!):
B - toast HEB, bacon medallions, mushrooms, tomatoes
    L - lentil soup
D - chilli with rice and side salad

    Have a good day all.

That's really good news about your daughter @Abbafan1972, hope she soon gets back to normal. 👍🏼 It's understandable that SW was the last thing you've been thinking about this week but you've kept in touch and hopefully soon be back on track.

I love aubergines @ruby_eskimo and that recipe sounds simple enough. I got one YS last week and it made all the difference to the roasted veg, LOs were good in a pasta salad too. 😋

It's a glorious day here and we've been out for a long walk this morning. Perfect drying day @Coxy11 for you to clear all the washing from the hike. Hope the curry goes down well.

Money coming in (instead of the usual other direction) is always worth celebrating @Jellybaby. Glad you enjoyed your little celebration and back on it today.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (P)
    L- ham (P), veggie hash (F,S), pickles (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,F,S) with cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1

Well last night I had a maintain at WI which I was quite pleased about to be honest.

I went to the chippy for my tea later on - it was only fish cake, chips and curry sauce and she still managed to get my order wrong!

Hope everyone is well today. So glad it’s Friday.

    Morning all,

Well done on your STS @Abbafan1972 and mmmmmmm to the chippy tea. How can you get that order wrong lol?!

I'm WFH today and both bosses are at an offsite for the majority of the day. This is good news as I need to pop to a friend's house at lunchtime as his DMum died whilst I was away. Would like to see him in person rather than send a card through the post. Need to put away the washing from yesterday and tidy away my hiking gear too.

    Food today:
    B - poached egg, 1 x WM toast, banana - P, 1/2 HEB, free
L - LO lamb tagine, mullerlight yoghurt - free, 0.5
D - out for a curry with friends - we normally share curry dishes so I will need to be careful.
    HEA - milk
    1/2 HEB - skinny bar
Syns - 0.5 plus the curry.......

    Have a good day everyone
    Coxy

@Coxy11 she asked me if I wanted salt & vinegar and I said no (I like to put my own on as they always use way too much salt) and she started to put the salt on. I had to remind her I said no, so she had to do my order again. Then she didn’t do my pot of curry sauce (that I paid £1 for and it was the tiniest pot I’d ever seen), so i had to ask for it lol.

It’s my Mom’s birthday today, bless her. 74 years young.
