There is very little point in resorting to childish behaviour. Ensure you cancel properly after day 4 and make sure you have your settings correct to block buyers with 2 or more non payment strikes. The fact that if every seller automatically blocked buyers with 2 or more strikes they wouldn’t be able to buy any more, should be deterrent enough. 

I have tried to find this setting under 'account settings' / 'selling preferences' but am unable to find it?

There is an option 'managing who can buy from you' but there is no such setting there

Thanks for that - is that available by going through any of the drop down menues once signed into ebay on the desktop ?

Recently I’ve only been able to find it by googling for the help page and clicking through.
