Oh god dishes in the bathroom that sounds horrendous! Luckily this time only the cold tap on the mixer broke, last time it was the hot but at least we have one or the other!

Todays PAd is £3.74 for c cat surveys must get more done to try and make a few quid a week.

I’m tempted to stay awake until after midnight for Mr J wages to go in so I can make a payment to the sofa honestly I am truly sad!

Been a busy day popped the shops earlier as my Mam likes a wander I personally hate shopping so bought nothing! Then called at my sons house for a cuppa with his GF, popped back to Mams for dinner and to put together youngest daughters clothes rail in what will be her room at their house when we move in, home cleaned bathroom, did a load of washing then cooked a chicken dinner for tea, sons GF called in also for tea, tomorrow will be food shop cleaning and I have some paperwork to read through for work 📚

    Good night all xx

Morning My PAD is £103 which takes the sofa debt to £980 and my goal is to have this paid by the end of June all being well maybe a week earlier, takes my total outstanding debts now to £6029, if we have a cheap week the £29 might also be able to go but have to see how we go.

Food shopping day today and my budget for that is £65.

  • Thats coming down nicely, can I ask if the sofa is through something like creation finance? Only because I pay my laptop through them and want to tackle that soon as theres only about £500 left on it, but wouldn't know how to go about making overpayments to it.

Morning @outoftheviciouscircle yes that’s exactly right creation finance, when I bought the sofa they emailed me a link and I set up an account if you Google creation finance login and select buy now pay later it should let you set you your account, the reason I wanted this home first was all my debt is 0% but this is the largest payment a month and my thinking was if I have to take debt with me to the new house I would rather have the lowest minimum payment debt just so I’m not over stretched, it’s nice to get rid of the smallest debt to so there is less creditors to pay!

Morning all, I am off to work today and still getting used to the extra day I’m working a week, haven’t slept well for a few days to much going round my head!
lots of new things to learn at work and implement and that’s all a bit stressful.
My PAD was £1 for today, yesterday I was tempted to just pay off the sofa and save back the money instead but I’ll give it a bit longer I think.
The house we want to buy has just been valued so waiting to find out how much they want for it and agree a price.
Need to check on my sale today and get one of the staff to get me an update as I’m not allowed to chase my own.
hope everyone has a lovely day, I’ll be looking forward to 5.30 🤪

youngest daughter starts her GCSEs Tuesday, bless her she’s working very hard I am very proud of her.
sale of the house is progressing well at the moment so keeping my fingers and toes crossed x

Missed the update yesterday! Was a nice day at work and then visited my mam, dad and my auntie was over also for a cuppa n chat. Resisted the urge to order takeaway and cooked from home instead, today I’ve made 2 homemade soups (butternut squash and tomato and roasted red pepper 🫑) all frozen in cups for work meals as MR J is back on a diet again, also made some flapjacks to.

Been to see the people we are buying from and have now agreed a price £175000 which is what I was expecting anyway, but started my worries off again as this almost double the value of the house we have now, but I will keep my head quiet and just know it will be worth it and it will be the only debt we will have to!

Small PADs made of about £1 per day, heading towards Thursday which is Mr J payday and also cc3 will go out this week to of £78 so chipping a bit more off soon

hope everyone enjoys their Sunday, lovely and sunny here 🌞

Busy day in work today still finding my feet on a few things, youngest daughter starts her GCSEs tomorrow so she’s a bit hyper / anxious and this mixed together means she’s just louder than normal 😂 it’s going to be a long 5 weeks!
middle daughter who lives away at uni but is currently working full time until her new course starts in September after quitting her first course (midwifery) in January is poorly again with a cold, the trouble with working in a school! She suffers with her mental health and I can feel a decline again, I am hoping it’s just a blip and she’s just tired and poorly but it’s been a couple of weeks now, I worry about her so much. Eldest son who is settled in a relationship and in the forces is fine thank goodness at the moment !
When you have children it’s such a worry when they are little but nothing prepares you for the worry when they grow up!
Nothing else to report really just ticking along till Mr J Payday on Thursday trying not to spend anything!

Not as busy at work today but that was quite nice as managed to get a bit of sorting done, will hopefully get more done tomorrow an hour or so a day and should be all organised in a month or 2,
only managed 50p PAD this week but have generally managed very little spending this week so that’s a bonus!

I am trying to get back into reading as I was hoping to read 25 books this year but my mind has been to full and I can’t read when it’s like that, things seem to be settling and I’ve managed a few pages over the last few nights (read after Mr J is asleep )

13 weeks till holidays when we go to Majorca probably will be the last holiday abroad for a few years so want to really enjoy it and maybe should start thinking about when we need for it, will check the list(I am a list person!)
