  • It is such a nice feeling when you get into that next £000 bracket.
I love Majorca, I haven't been for years, since I met DH 13 years ago we haven't really gone for relaxing holidays as he doesn't enjoy them. I will get my way sometime though. What part are you going to?

Have fun starting to move bits and pieces out, I do not envy you at all.

We are off to magaluf, love how busy it is and still enjoy the noisy music pubs and the strip and my kids are 16 and 20 (and I have one 26 he’s not coming as holidays with his GF) so they’ll enjoy it to, probably the last time we go with the 20 year old, been busy at work again, slept terribly as DH snored all night long and I just couldn’t switch it off, hoping for a better night tonight, paid £80 off yesterday but won’t be much now till DH gets paid Thursday xx

Well today we signed and returned our contract and transfer document to our solicitor, all very odd as my buyer had no searches or survey fair enough shes a cash buyer, but no enquiries either? That’s a first for me like! But I’m not complaining, hope to have a completion date next week although I said from the start not till end of June when GCSEs are over.
not paid anything this week with DH pay as he needed new walking shoes and sandals with arch support he has been diagnosed with heel spurs one and another one starting so waiting on the dr to refer him to someone.
I get paid next Wednesday so hoping to pay something with that.
went to charity shop today and got a pair of work trousers and 2 nice jumpers all for £10 so pleased with them!

I was pondering on a neighbours house being empty awaiting a sale, and wondered if Estate Agents could offer an additional service of keeping gardens weeded/grass mown? It really detracts from kerb appeal when the weeds take over. I guess it would have to be paid for monthly, otherwise charges could mount up.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Yeah lots of properties are just left and end up very overgrown often depending on the seller’s circumstances/estate , it’s not something we offer although we do have lots of contacts for contractors in various professions should the sellers want or need to find someone

Paid £40 into the tin for new house renovations which is from car boot sales, also sold the petrol lawn mower this week and the money from that £70 to the same tin and £80 towards DH shoes. Off out tonight to the pubs with the girls I work with so will be a good laugh and a good night expect to have a slight hangover tomorrow but it’s bank holiday and have no plans, shame the suns not shining as nice today it’s chilly and cloudy here and I was planning to wear a dress! May have to re think this plan!
Should be packing but honestly can’t seem to find much to pack that we don’t actually need / use for the next few weeks so not much to do at all really just waiting!
