You mention an experts report, have you had one done specifically to go to court with.  Maybe the person who quoted you and gave his opinion may not want that used in a court case.  An expert opinion is different from a quote from a builder.

Ok anyways we decided to goto the court after getting the expert report. We can’t leave this issue without getting a fix as even a tiny rain is puddling the patio and it’s affecting the fence shared with neighbour. We can’t even water the plants freely . If little bit water gets in patio it will remain there forever until we manually clear it off.
If that's genuinely the case, you have a leak somewhere.  We're into a relatively warm period, people are hanging out damp laundry which is dry in a day, and having to water plants because rainfall has been limited in much of England recently.  If water isn't disappearing from your patio at all, you have a leak.

    Or you're exaggerating.
Water isn’t disappearing at all. This issue we never had before until the new patio is laid upon. There is misalignment in slabs which is not sloping away and causing water to clog. Now weeds have started growing in the misaligned slabs. That’s the truth.
I don't disbelieve you, but where is the water coming from?  It's just not plausible that in the current weather, rain or water from watering plants is just sitting there and not evaporating at all.  If I go and spray my patio now, it will be dry in less than an hour, maybe a couple of hours if shaded.

Weeds around the slabs..such situation not in any slabs laid by our builder.
Your expectations are way too high. You had slabs laid three months ago, in peak growing season, and you have a few weeds.  That's entirely normal, everyone has to deal with things like this at this time of year.  Nature is incredibly resilient and resourceful, it will grow things anywhere it can.

It appears that there is no cement or other material between slabs. Which will mean plants will flourish in that space.

If I was OP I would lift the flags that are up against the neighbours fence & see what they are laid on. Then create a channel between the flags & the wall. To allow water to drain away.

Bet there is only a slight layer of sand & flags laid on top.

Then y not in other slabs and only this slab which is misaligned and where maximum water pudding is happening?

I don't know.  What did your expert say?

What part of the country are you in?  I'm in the south east, and we haven't had any rain for a few weeks.  Where is all this water you keep talking about coming from?

Exactly for that to happen we need a professional to do it. Either they need to fix or refund us to get it done by another landscaper. Thanks!! I guess you are the only one who understood our issue in this 30 page conversation.

I thought you had expert reports?
Which should have lifted a flag to check...If they did not then do not use any of them, or you will be back again with the same issue.
Sounds like they are all working together. Which is why having a look yourself is a good idea.

Understanding the issue & resolving are 2 different things.

They had two by the 4th April, yet here we are, two months on.

How's it affecting the fence when the fence sits on a concrete platform?
