Also, don't do too much tomorrow as Sunday will be even cheaper 😅
How confident are you? I was going to do a load of washing but it can wait til tomorrow if that would be better.

Grass needs cutting, which I'll do this afternoon during the negitive hours as it's forecast to rain tomorrow :(
Here is roughly how long range predictions work:

There definitely will be negatives tomorrow, comparing the grid load (that green chart) it looks much more optimistic than today - so based on that I'm like 80% sure prices will be better. After 10am when Nordpool prices appear you will know almost for sure - if they lower than today - price will be lower 😅

Looks like it's going to be negative prices for nearly all of tomorrow, going by that twitter source. I really did land on the tariff at the right time, trying to think of what to do when to make the best of it, lol.

I m done now after five washes and drying .three electric  fires on the go etc and 27 kwhs logged and counting .Feeling a bit guilty because I m addicted to not wasting anything .But apparently I m being green and helping the Grid not to have to brake the wind turbines and lose heat

I've, guiltily, had the oven on full blast with the door open.

Is the Octopus app crashing when you try to select usage, for anyone else?

I've made food through to Tuesday and washed towels and bedding, with the cooking (helped with dehumidifier) more or less drying the towels in double quick time. Also done a hoover through and heated up a tank of water on the immersion which I never normally do since it's cheaper to wash up from the kettle, but every little helps I guess. Now for a nice long hot shower, another luxury, lol

The teenager thinks I've gone barking mad.

Normally I am slightly obsessive about turning off unused lights and things. Today I've been turning them on, and encouraging him to charge all his devices. When I explained I was being paid to use electric, he asked me to cut him in. I said I'd give him half of my profits so now he's having a shower to use more electric. Sadly he's only on track to make about 15p...

Haha, exactly the same, clocked 30kWh for today, at average let's say -2.5p - it may be just enough to earn £0 after charge :-)

This is where the excitement fades.. but hey, I would have paid nearly £10 not being on Agile 😂

Using my usage figures from Loop I turned 6p profit by 2pm with another 10KwH at negative values to add in.  I went out for a walk at 4pm and when I came back the house was so warm I felt a bit sick! Got a load of washing for overnight and will leave the oil filled radiator on the timer and bathroom and kitchen extractor fans on from 1am.  Debating whether to leave the oven on overnight as well ...

I've hammered mine today.  I should be on free gas too, if my calculations are correct
