I moved from Intellegent Octopus Go to Agile at the start of Feb.

I have an EV, but no solar or battery. Under IOG my average unit cost was 17.5p, under Agile it's 12.5p so I am quite happy with that. Agile works especially well for me as I'm rarely home during the early evening peak due to my work pattern. I don't do lots of miles in my EV, if I did then IOG would probably still be better.

Combined with my gas being on Tracker, I am saving a small fortune compared to the Price Cap rates.

Something I haven't come across in my short time with Agile; an hour of rates higher than the Tracker during the morning. That's our brew time! 😄

I find the next page very useful for putting on washing/tumble dryer and high energy use things

That was actually pretty common and the norm before the last couple of months - when I was on Agile last year there was usually a big spike for an hour or two in the morning and then obviously in the evening.  From my limited experience (less than a fully year) this is more normal than what we've seen in the last month or two.

    Last month is really odd:
16-19 below SVR, just but below
    0-16, 19-24 below Tracker rate
and in general, average price close to 12p most of the time - which is boring - as it makes little no difference if I run dishwasher at 2pm or 2am :D

My average few months experience is:
    0-6 below Tracker
    6-10 above Tracker
    10-16 below Tracker
16-19 above SVR (so far 25-70p range)
    19-20 above Tracker
    20-24 below Tracker

But it could be either way for shorter periods

A quick tot up since moving to Agile on 15th Feb from Tracker. (15th-28th Feb)

Tracker Nov 2022 v1 would have cost us £63
Tracker Dec 2023 v1 would have cost us £79
Agile Dec 2023 v1 has cost us £56

Obviously for many Tracker Nov 2022 v1 no longer exists so the benchmark is Tracker Dec 2023 v1.

A few things we have changed, dishwasher, machine machine do get programmed for overnight and the hot water as well (ASHP) at the cheapest slots. We also turn off our ASHP 4-7pm during the expensive Agile period but do continue to cook as normal and TV etc etc.

So rather than putting things on whenever a little planning say a couple of minutes each day and setting things up in the utility/plant room for overnight running and an average electricity price of 12.5p kwh

    Since 15th Feb

All figures excluding SC as they are the same for both.

Agile Agile Dec 2023 v1 cost me £13.76, with a daily mean UR of 13.91p

Tracker Dec 2023 v1 would have cost me £17.69, with a daily mean UR of 17.97p

I am a low user, around 2100kWh a year.  I have shifted a bit.  Showers taken at lower rates, as are washing, drying and dishwasher - although not necessarily at the cheapest rates.  Gas cooker, so not major shift in meal times. Gas C/H.  Run my own business, office at home.

My calculations were around £6 a month saving, so on target.

As a low user I have just switched to Agile, as I am able to stop using electric between 4-7pm, not too much hassle but originally to offset April s/c increase to 66p where I am so 51p on Agile is a nice bonus as well, also gone on variable DD (both have to phone up to get though), so may not cancel the gas in protest at increase in s/c. Just noticed that gas is included under the tariff so is that fixed for 12 months as well?

Bit of an aside, but has anyone noticed since the last few days Octopus have got a day behind on loading the usage data to their app and API - I noticed this a few days ago - e.g. today I can only see the data from Tuesday.  Normally the data from Wednesday would appear late on Thursday night, but everything seems to have shifted back a day.
Yeah quite a few reports across social groups. There have been delays.
