Start planning now.

Bet the sun shines…

Sadly, that is the case here.
At the moment the forecast is showing full sun from mid-afternoon, so I'll probably play plunge in the morning, when the sun's the wrong side of the house, and turn the rays into cash later in the day.

I think that's what I'm going to have to do too. Might start the laundry early to empty the battery in readiness. And use the electric radiators rather than the heat pump! It definitely requires some planning…

At least we get a lie-in until 07:00, this time. Mustn't grumble…

Can you tell my cats about the lie-in please?

Time to invite the neighbours to charge their car by 3 pin plug

About £4 pay back today on Agile, not bad that will pay for the next 3 days of usage.

I managed to gobble up 31kWh by about 13:30 then I switched the solar back on to lap up the afternoon rays. I'll probably make more from the solar, but it's the thought that counts!

we ended the negative run at -£1.17 which isn’t too shoddy - washing machine only ran two loads in the end - I just didn’t have anything else that needed to go in, and it wasn’t worth running for the sake of it just because of the wear and tear aspect. I did do a drum clean cycle after the second load though. DW went twice as well - it was full first thing, then ran it again with air fryer bowl and insert, water filter jug and inner and some other odds and ends.
The kettle boiled more times than I could count, all the hand washing up is up to date using boiled water and both flasks are full.
Dehumidifier ran all day upstairs.
MrEH made rolls and a fruit loaf. We also cooked up a big pan of rhubarb as masses more needed picking!Ended the day with 88p “credit” still in spite of cooking tea, so that should cover most of today’s use plus the standing charge, with luck!
