Annoying that today's (and tomorrow's potentially even more bountiful offerings) are going to be of limited use for us thanks to work timings! Today I can do more with - tomorrow is likely to be tickover only I suspect. Still, there are good signs that the summer might be an excellent time for those of us on Agile I think!

I think this summer may be unique for many of us. I suppose at some point there will be a new version that returns to a two term formula.

So today I topped the car up at minus 5p and tomorrow it's going down to minus 7. Oh well, it's hardly something I can complain about too loudly! ;-)
As it was chilly in the lounge with this cold easterly wind here I plugged in the vehicle to load adapted and had the electric heater on in the lounge.
I couldn't batch bake or do laundry today as the builders were in so that's planned for tomorrow too, although as I've got my own solar my demand on the grid won't be great.
I slightly annoyed someone I know who was complaining about high energy prices when I said that they were really quite low. He didn't quite appreciate that although I was joking it was based on the truth, that even without solar you can pay a lot less than SVR if you put in a bit of effort.

M dilemma is that when Iran started kicking off, I moved onto a fix at about 24p kWh. Now I'm planning on buying an EV within the next couple of months.
I only do about 8K a year now I work from home, so Go wouldn't really work as I've no load to shift. Agile would be perfect historically and even more so this summer, but as Iran shows no sign of being sorted any time soon, I'm not quite comfortable with leaving that fix behind with potential awful winter rates and a horrible price cap tariff.
Even charging on my current fix would save loads over my current car, but being paid to charge would be nicer.

So what the H**l is going on with tomorrows forecast!
Way over the £1.00 capped rate for a lot of the time.
Unless I'm reading it wrong…
