I did wonder how the -3.5p would work and it's pricing to be a nice discount

We've got a nice double whammy of MSE-ness going on today - the tube strike means that MrEH is working from home - so no tube fares, and the middle of the day negative pricing on top!

the 11am till 4 pm period is the new cheap rate for the summer with ever increasing amount of solar coming online . My house is all electric, I’m even switching the hot water tank to that period rather than overnight

So, a confluence of gales and sunshine. Marvellous, except when you've got sheets of insulation board outside, which I've just lashed down, and the dilemma of generating lots of solar or gobbling up the Agile bounty.

Thankfully it's not particularly windy here tomorrow as the builders haven't bothered to secure things… but I have the same problem of solar vs. Agile. I guess I can at least put on all the heating and minimise the grid impact of my generation, while not worrying if a cloud passes overhead.
