Funnily enough I received a survey link asking why I was leaving them and specifically cited the punitive standing charge for Agile in my region (over 7p per day more than flexible).

I've got 4p over (8th) and 19p over (9th). That said I'm expecting today to claw some of that back. DW & WM ran overnight as planned, and it looks like the WM will be running again tonight too.

I'm certainly pleased to have kept the faith for the time being - and of course these couple of days will help soften the losses from other days. At the point where I get to the half way point in a month and I'm down most days, AND there isn't anything very hopeful on the predictions, I'll reconsider.

I stuck it out last winter and was rewarded with a record solar summer, so my bill for the year was well under £500, despite the EV and heat pump.

Bill yesterday was just under 16p average on Agile and I've no domestic battery, so I'd consider that reasonable.. Had to be a bit circumspect but nothing too difficult.

It worked out quite nicely for me in the end. I was able to shuffle over to EDF FreePhase Dynamic with my few days on SVT aligning with the worst pricing for either smart tariff. Thankfully it only took 48 hours for smart readings to start coming through and I was able to make use of last night's bonanza. I dare say I'll be back sooner or later.

Lucky you! Mine is 10p more expensive which makes the pain of usage rates over and above SVR all the harder to bear.

How are people still on the old SC rate? I've been on the new regime for over a year and have already had a renewal on the new regime.
