You should be able to switch to their current 12 month fixed tariff but I haven't looked up what that rate is yet

Hmm. I'll see what tomorrow 4pm brings but it's looking like a jump to Cosy may be in order.

[I tried investigating FreePhase because the current static version looks decent, but each time I try it tells me there a technical problem.]

ToU tarriffs are never available in general quote tools, you need to pick them individually, but here's list of all Octopus tarriffs:tarrif

    https://octopus.energy/tariffs/

select Domestic, and have a look - some of them require EV, some like Snug are controlled by Octopus etc.

It looks like they've removed the ability to change tariff (to a standard one) from the website, and it is currently disabled in the app unless you are close to renewal.

I've just checked and the fix rates have gone up since this morning, and there's a £50 per fuel exit fee if you change tariff or supplier in the first year.

Just seen the gas prices for tomorrow 7.11p (highest I have known) and electric up to almost 30p and wondering if I should fix, even if just for the gas aspect. Can I just fix the Gas or would I be best doing both?

On Agile for my electric, which ends 7 Aug 26 and have solar panels and on the Outgoing Octopus new 12p export tariff. I am quite a low user for electric (less than 6kwh a day the last month) and expect that to drop now my solar has been better the past couple of weeks 🤞

On gas Tracker Apr 25V2, ends 9 Jun 26. Again a low user I think, just got my bill and had used 835.5 kWh, which is down from last month's 1183.6 kWh and sure this will continue as its gets warmer.

Agile is not looking too bad tomorrow all things considered, but I note that there is a fair bit of wind and sun around, which won't be the case later in the week. I have decided to jump ship and have initiated my switch this evening. I don't have gas, but for elec, I didn't see anything currently on offer at Octopus that could tempt me to stay. I might have gone for the March 2026 v1 fix temporarily if it had lasted another day, but I won't be moving onto anything with an exit fee as I think there is a good chance things will settle down in a few weeks (famous last words).
