Average price is 25p tomorrow. Luckily it isn't too bad between the morning and evening peaks.

Yes - and back to not dropping straight back below SVT at 1900 as well which is the bit that always bugs me. I don't mind holding off on making the tea until that point, I'm not waiting until half past though!

I'm switching to IOG tomorrow, so this will probably be my last post in here. Good timing it seems 😁
PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)0 -
Well it's 0.5p above :) if you run oven for an hour at 7pm then it will be cheaper than SVR as 19:30 is 24.5p. 14:30 is 37% cheaper than SVR, as well as big chunk of the day from 9:30.
It is higher, but this should dissolve in a monthly bill.. not mentioning IOG as this could only work of you have battery otherwise you're getting 32p for most of the day.
The last two weeks have been really good, helped me take my average to 16p.

What's Octopus's current fix price for electricity? Gas prices have shot up to 140p so I'll see if that means we'll see £1 highs like last Jan

It's the principle rather than the actual cost! 😉Generally speaking it all comes out in the wash - and after last year I'm viewing February as an absolute win as that ended up with a big saving over SVR.
Might be sooner than it ought to be if the prices sky rocket because of the Middle East stuff!
Do you mean the cap on Agile? That's at £1/kWh still as far as I know.

Yeah, I've just seen Nordpool prices for tomorrow and they're bonkers. Looking at weather forecast (and world news) I don't think there will be any better in the next two weeks.
Cosy, E7, SVR.. need to have a think and will switch today sadly :/
edit: alright, cosy for me.. even went for a fixed version, happy to pay £25 "insurance" for cheap prices next winter.

Not too many options for us sadly - it will almost certainly be a fix for the time being until we see whether things will drop back. The current fix is looking pretty rubbish though! Ahh well, let's see what happens over the next few days.

The only option I saw to change was onto Flexible Octopus. Did I miss something?
Flexible seems to have prices changing every three months (does that mean it is just SVR?) and at current price is likely to be worse than Agile
