Anyone staying on Agile through December is a braver man than I, according to Octopus Compare, if I'd not been on the Feb Agile last year with the 35p cap, I'd have paid an extra £50 in that month alone!4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0

I'm going to chance it. It really depends on how windy it is. There is significantly more wind generation connected since last winter. The whole-year average is what counts in the end.0

..last year is a warning but not the benchmark for every winter following...but those with a nervous disposition you know what to do.0 -
Last year had a mix of good and bad days through Nov-Jan. Personally, I will be out of the country for a couple of weeks this Dec, so like @Netexporter going to chance it as well.0

Is anybody else's IHD not adding the daily charge to the cumulative unit cost, since the weekend?0

I'm on Agile - here are some figures for October showing it how it compared for me with Tracker and SVR:Total cost: Agile £43.40 Tracker £66.03 SVR £96.41Average unit rates: Agile 9.65p/kWh Tracker 17.01p/kWh SVR 26.35p/kWhSo Agile still the best for me by quite some margin BUT based on the last week or so I'm not sure how long it will last. How's everyone else doing?0

I've stopped using my IHD but the clock change well and truly confused my automated stats collection - maybe related?

Between 1-17th December all the prices were higher than normalwith 50p-80p quite a bit normal..
Really interesting to see, as January soon after was full of negative prices, with none over 40p!
But I guess it was a factor of cold weather, no wind, no sun, chaos because of gas prices.. so it's possible that roles could reverse this year - ok December and terrible January.0
