    Any one left?
I'm still here but not for much longer!  Just have to get on the phone to them as it won't let me change just my electric on line.  The 12p a day saving on standing charge is being gobbled up by the mad rates at the moment.

Satisfied customer of Octopus Agile - past savings on average 33% of standard tarrif

Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.

That's it! Finally jumped ship for the 16m fixed - despite the lad trying to tell me that the cap is likely to go down in April!  Expect Agile prices to plunge over the next few days to show me how wrong I was to make the move ...

I have noticed that as well when you click through the just change one links, empty boxes appear momentarily and then fade into the screen with a message saying something has gone wrong, try again later. I could do gas on-line but don't want to as have turned it off and am on a lowish s/c until it runs out. No hurry as have two weeks left before Agile expires. The fixed is tempting as it will lock in the s/c, you never known what the supreme beings at Ofgem will do next, end of March I think.

    In what way?

You do realise that the largely outwith Octopus's control, other than their application of the formula people should be aware of before signing up?

It's not as if they are the ones setting the underlying price that drives whatever formula each person is on.

if your happy to pay them prices then carry on instead of taking a fix even for the month must have money to waste

That would be a possibility if they had kept changing the tariff like tracker but they have not. This is just a true reflection of the current prices.

But yes plenty of jump shop til things approve options available to all

Given that I've done the maths and worked out that it would cost considerably more for me to move to the fix (even it the last week it would be 6% more, the last month 18%), I think you're making a sweeping generalisation that doesn't take individual circumstances into account. And it's individual circumstances that all the various smart tariffs are being designed to optimise.
