The thread for newbies to read first is a sticky thread pinned at the top of the forum.
It is in capitals - designed to grab attention and be read before posting - and every post I make tells you (below) where to click to get there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

No excuse for not having studied it now:

So sad that we end up posting links to a sticky thread.
It means this OP never knows how to go to page one and read today's threads (and learn from them) like we do. Just a click away but this OP is keeping themselves isolated on little islands of their own thread and a link we give them to another one.

Sadly, if we are having to do this by page 4 on a thread almost 3 weeks old, we may be dealing with a lost cause, at least as far as teaching someone how to browse the forum is concerned. It doesn't help with such poor forum ergonomics.Coupon-mad said:So sad that we end up posting links to a sticky thread.
