Another crap DCBL debt collector letter living in cloud LALA land and signed by KIM .... WHAT A JOKESugar1233 said:Iha
blanked out the reg, as this not my car anyway
1: There never has been a parking ticket for £170 and there will never be one ....... FAKERY
2: They quote the Supreme Court ruling ... all judges will know about this case which actually ruled on a £85 parking charge and that the charge covered the cost of operating the scheme.
You have to ignore such cloud dreaming stuff and do not be sucked in
If DCBL persist in this scam, we on MSE will go for the jugular1 -
What is FMOTI @Grizebeck? Tried hard to decipher it myself, but failed!Grizebeck said:

I am just in the mood for FMOTl stuff tonightSugar1233 said:I have been on their website (GroupNexus I assume) loaded in the reference and the reg on the letter, it then states to pay the fine or appeal it. No other options, to see images do I select appeal? As I don't want to enter a 'contract' with them if you get my understanding

FMOTL = Freeman Of The Land.

This location has had quite a few TripAdvisor reviews which mention receiving a parking ticket, despite being a customer.https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g1819659-d1819661-Reviews-The_Crown_Inn_at_Tolldown-Dyrham_Gloucestershire_England.html
On the CP Plus website, you might be able to see the photos if you enter the PCN reference and the registration and choose 'Pay'. Obviously don't go as far as the actual payment page.4 -
Hi, me again, after emails to dcble and calls that don't get answered, they have now sent me another letter stating of the court summons if I don't pay? I have now used their WhatsApp but still waiting on someone to come back to me. I have wrote to the DVLA to confirm I am not the registered keeper of this vehicle they state in the letter. Anything more I can do as I do not want to go to court for this.0

You were lucky that they didn't answer; the NEWBIE sticky is quite clear in that you do NOT try to engage with PPCs or their legals by telephone as you have no evidence/proof of what was said or agreed. Sorry, don't understand what you mean here. Why have you written to DVLA? Are you asking for proof that you were or are not the RK? If so that is correct.Sugar1233 said:Hi, me again, after emails to dcble and calls that don't get answered, they have now sent me another letter stating of the court summons if I don't pay? Yes I believe the DVLA can send proof that you are not the registered keeper of this vehicle.0

What on earth are you on about? Re-read the letter you received and count the number of times the word "summons" appears in there. You will not receive a "summons" for this civil matter. You seem to have it in your head that you are somehow involved in some kind of criminal case. You aren't!Sugar1233 said:Hi, me again, after emails to dcble and calls that don't get answered, they have now sent me another letter stating of the court summons if I don't pay? Also, why are you contacting them via WhatsApp? Have you not bothered to actually read the Newbies/FAQ thread? Go and read it again and then re-read it and then read it once more. It tells you everything you need to know about this process but you seem, like too many others, not to actually bother with it other than a skim read, if that.
You will never receive a "summons" over this. You may receive a County Court Claim which is NOT a "summons". There is nothing criminal about this process except the behaviours of the PPCs and their bottom-dwelling solicitors. It is a civil matter. Of all the claims advised on this forum, 99% of them are won or discontinued before they ever reach court. You are going to be one of the 1% that end up paying these scammers by the sound of your post above.
Stop your panicking and stop trying to contact the intellectually malnourished DCB Legal via WhatsApp. It sounds as though you are trying to negotiate with them in order to pay them something. If you pay them anything you are a part of the problem and funding their scam. You will also be marked as a mug for future reference.1 -
Thanks, I think I needed some of your wording to wake me up from this. I'll stop all communication with them from now. I can assure you I won't be paying, I was trying to let them know of this error. Yet where is the newbie chain?0
