    Yep, I've had the email.

Previously a PO Credit card, I have used it extensively in Europe especially to buy in fuel stations, restaurants and hotels, and as far as I can remember I've always paid it off by direct debit after I forgot one and got a shock interest charge :'( . Last used in November and September.

So I think we've had enough discussion about why they've done it, now I'd appreciate opinions on what to replace it with, given my typical spending habits and one that offers the best exchange rate
After a brief bit of research I settled on the Barclaycard's rewards card which arrived today.

Given that I have a Halifax current account I guess I'll go for their Clarity card

It sounds like they are getting rid of the Post Office and AA cards.

I have been with Post Office for a many many years and now with JAJA and received the same email as above and yet I use my Jaja card the whole time and it has not been dormant.  Bloody outrageous !!!   They must be in financial difficulties and on the point of going into ADMISTRATION !!!!     That's what I have heard on the financial grapevine.
Bit of a leap no? They're trimming back the segments of their Bank of Ireland acquired portfolio which are making them no money.

I note nobody so far has said they (sometimes) carry a balance month to month...

Just got my email today, only used last month… but only use abroad. No big deal but would have been interesting to know why:-

After reviewing our credit card offerings, we've made the difficult decision to discontinue the Jaja Credit Card that you currently hold with us. In line with your terms and conditions, your account will automatically close on 30 May 2023.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting us by using our credit card over the last few years.

So far I have not received the message.
Another ex post office card holder.
I use the card 13-16 times a year for foreign transactions. That's it.
I pay off in full by direct debit.
Didn’t take long. I have received the message with closing date of 30/5.
    Bu!!er!

I wonder if the timing of these account closure notices are dependent on statement date?  As yet, I've not received the same email as others have.  My statement date is 17th of the month - perhaps I'll get notified around this date?

As a data point, my statement date is the 18th of the month.

Received notice of closure of my JaJa credit card yesterday.  Such a shame as I always found it gave good exchange rates when using it abroad which I did regularly.  I also liked the app.  I can't understand why it would take over all the Post Office card customers a few years ago, only to discard them.  Presumably not as profitable as they thought.

Another soon to be ex customer of Jaja here - just received my letter!
As seemingly with most, I was a Post Office customer who mainly used the card for the free foreign transactions overseas.
Oh well,I do have alternative cards to use giving the same.
