thanks doris and arrietty xxxIts results day and DD has done it. She has passed 5 out of the 6 GCSEs that she started in Septmeber 2023, having had practically no school or education for the previous 4 years. We are incredibly proud of her and have everything crossed that she will cope with college.SHe managed a 7 in english and a 5 in maths (she was working at a grade 1 to 2 in September and worked so hard to get that 4, she smashed it with a 5!!)♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

thankyou guys, very happy this evening. Not been very money saving though, as I bought doughnuts and flowers and then this afternoon we went shopping!! oops!Need to reign it right in!!I started back on the intermittant fasting yesterday, Apart from the doughnut after tea. (m&s do do the most delicious doughnuts!!) Nothing now until 1pm tomorrow. Hopefully being strict on this will help me lose a bit of excess weight! Also plan to start swimming a bit more and exercising with DD should help too. It might help my frame of mind improve too!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

CONGRATULATIONS to your DD on the GCSE results, what an achievement!
I think doughnuts and flowers were perfectly reasonable expenses for the occasion

Congratulations on the PB win, I never check unless they email to say there's a message; mine are auto invested too.
Fantastic news about DD, totally deserved the treats!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Thanks. M.f and arrietty
DD successfully enrolled at College, still need to buy the bus pass (£680 for the year 😳😳😳)
Clinic day today, so i need to get going.
Im behind in my accounts and banking, I need to sort that out today and then take a look at the envelope challenge as I'm slipping behind and also had to borrow from 2 of the envelopes!
Then tomorrow once I've finished work I'm going to my mums and taking her to Paris, finally, after delaying it in July when she was poorly. Should be fun that paraolmypics are still on so there should be a good atmosphere around!
Have a good day all x♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Hope college goes well for your DD. Wow £680! I presume that's the cost with a student/ young person's card if such a thing exists where you are.
Enjoy Paris, hope you and your mum have a lovely time.0 -
Thanks for stopping by. Time2count,
That price is the college subsided bus pass. It's another £100 on top other wise! Crazy money!
Work this morning then I need to pack my bag and I'll be off to Paris! Definetely won't be much money saving, but I am hoping that next week once college starts and I'm back in the swing of things, I can get a bit of a plan together and make some more pennies.
It looks like I will have some tutoring in my side hustle, which will be fabulous and will go straight to the pension pot, which has not been increasing as per my plan (which I knew was unrealistic, but hopeful!)
Will look to do a leaflet drop locally for my main business, i would like about another 3 to 4 home visits a week, that would make a huge difference.

Oh wow! Have a lovely time in Paris!! How exciting!
One of the reasons we just moved was because the bus pass here for 2 kids worked out to be around 2k a year, and if they missed the one bus that came out to the town we were in then I had to drive to collect themMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000.
