There is lots of good progress with your pots.

Neither of my children have ever been to school but I don't spend much keeping them happy, entertained and educating them. We go to libraries, museums, galleries, nature reserves all for free - no doubt we do more that I haven't thought of. Other activities I keep the costs low, we take packed food and drinks, look for discounts...

Thank you @Baileys_Babe i am pleased. I keep getting really frustrated Im not where I want to be and then when I write it down and reflect on my pots im actually quite pleased!

I need to look at how I spend my time with DD, I am hoping there will be an awful lot more work this year. As she wants to take a few GCSEs. So less time spending my money!! :D (I can hope!!)

Saturday update ~ I just surprised my self  B) Ive sat down and done my tax return. whoop ded whoop!! Well ive completed it, but not submitted it yet. I will check it tomorrow and if ok will click that button!! I hadnt realised but it was hanging over me, because I had that shock of a large (£2700) tax bill I have been quietly worrying this years will be as high. Sadly my earnings are about 2 grand less, and the tax bill is £650 so still none the wiser as why last years so much more.
Even better ive nearly got that amount covered in my tax pot. I just need to shout out loud here I LOVE MY POTS!!!! ;)
It doesnt need to be paid unti Jan 24 so alough I would like it paid off, I think it will be much better sitting in my saving acc earning a little interest for the next 5 months than in their pocket!!

    Happy bunny this evening B)

Now this evening I am going to try and use top cash back. I signed up in April but have never used it! :o I need to buy a sizeable present so this is a good time, i hope. No idea how it works. Hopefully it will tell me!

Managed a £9 study quite late last night and its paid out this morning yippee plus a few others so Ive cashed out £20.95 and added it to the MMOPP its now £50.60 / £60 for AUG yey!

Hoping to get in the garden again today, I started yesterday on the bottom corner tackling the nettles and bramble and started to reveal the mud mountain underneath. We need to complettetly clear this whole area then do something with the mud mountain (soil moved from another part of the garden and dumped here!!) Dh also did one of our hedges and manged to cut through the wire ~ thank fully all was ok, just tripped the house!! So he then had to set about trying to fix it and B&Q provided the answer. Lead was fixed and the job finished inbetween rain showers!

We've a similar MF timeframe as I'm aiming for 31/12/2029!
Could you create raised beds for the mud mound. It's only disguising but solves the 'problem'. Get a bucket for the nettles, add enough water to cover them and use it as natural feed; add a bit to your watering can to dilute it.
You're doing really well with the studies.

    Thank you @MovingForwards
I sort of have a plan to redistribute the soil in various places. Hopefully all around the bottom of the garden as i don't want to trolley it around to much! But I need to Clear the whole area of weeds and the Hazel first to see how much soil i can 'hide' there!
I can't wait to be MF now we have a date in mind i am eager to push it nearer!!

Been a busy day today. No PA but the bonus payment came through i was waiting fir from last week so that's good.
I weeded an empyt veg bed laid cardboard and then Finally got round to emptying  compost bin 1, then moved compost in bin 3 into 1 to give it a good airing, it's actually nearly ready, but it can sir they're until jan feb time. And then shifted compost 2, the fresh stuff into bay 3. All that shovelling nearly word me out. But e had a tip trip booked so dh loaded up the car and we both went and took a car load of garden waste. Dh did the beech hedge and there was massives to get rid of.
I then worked on my accounts getting them up to date and then also moved a massive frog a few steps along. Just need to print a file out and then can send it off, i will be very pleased if I can do that tomorrow.

Must needed sleep now and a busy work day tomorrow

Grateful today for the sun shining and the wind blowing, helped to get my washing dry x
