You got some good value for money there at aldee - the sugar free jellies - did you get the ready made ones? I’ve always found them
a bit dear for what they are and tend to go for the sachets. You get a lot more jelly for your money and can set fruit in it which is really nice too xxLancashire

I will have to look for the peach squash as I am trying to find something to drink which isn't coffee & I'm not a fan of tea.My friend is going beach casting this weekend & promised me some fish, which is fine for me but DS does not like fish that resembles an actual fish. So breaded fish or fingers is fine but I am not doing that to freshly caught fish. When he catches trout I usually eat it all myself but these are bigger nothing like first world problems!2

@badmemory most supermarkets do their own version of the no added sugar peach squash or the well known R*sons brand. I don’t like blackcurrant, can’t have orange or lemon due to my acid reflux, but I agree with SQS, the peach is lovely. I am the same as your DS with fish! I can manage tinned mackerel or pilchards in tomato sauce but I take the backbone out then mash them before eating 😆
I am lovely and warm in bed this morning. The portable boiler control says 16 degrees so not cold. I really want a cup of tea but don’t want to get out of bed. I am just considering buying a cheap kettle for in my bedroom. I could bring up a cup with milk & a teabag the night before 🤔

Somehow I never thought the water was boiling enough with a teasmade.

I am just enjoying a cuppa in bed 😊 DF had a travel kettle which he donated to me saving me £8 on buying one.We went to weather spoons last night & DF paid. I have been feeling a bit out of sorts since I got back & it’s taking me a while to settle back in. I really fancied comfort food so I had steak & kidney pudding, chips & peas & lashings of gravy 😋 with a drink £8 and DF paid as I paid for the cinema on Wednesday.
Back on the healthier eating today which has to be a lifestyle choice not a diet if I want to keep my hba1c down. The rain has woken me twice in the night and it sounds grim out there. Still dark & haven’t looked out!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Weather is terrible isn’t it? Stay safe and dry indoors if you can x
How lovely DF is! Meals out and kettles 🥰 but I know it is 100% reciprocal - love how you get the cinema tix and DF buys the meal! 😊
it is a lifestyle choice and not a diet SYA - and you are living breathing proof it works. XxLancashire

Glad you're home safely and warming it back up. Fantastic news about PD.
You've had a great holiday and it always takes a while to settle back into a routine.
Having a kettle upstairs is good for the first brew and your food shopping is good. Jacket spuds are winter comfort food. Don't forget to get chunky soups and stews batch cooked.
