I have just downloaded the asd@ app to get a £5 off voucher from last weeks deals email. I will pop into store after aquafit tomorrow to get my usual cooked chicken & then I should be able to use it the next time I shop after that. Asda rewards are pretty good - I’ve gone back to Lidl/Aldi for the summer but there really isn’t much in it price wise anymore and most weeks you can get anywhere from £1-£4 off the weekly shop with very little effort at Asda.
hope you have a wonderful time at the Aquafit xLancashire

Does anyone use their dehumidifier in the summer months? I am beginning to panic about the increase in electric bill. 🙄

No I don’t have either SQS
Humidity in the kitchen / diner was 82%. Recommended is 60%. I put it on for an hour after cooking. I also put the cooker extractor on whilst cooking and shut the door leading into the rest of the house & it went down to 60%. Back up to 84% at 10pm so I have put it on to run for 6 hours. If it gets down to 60% it should switch onto standby. I will have to check my electric charges per kWh and work out the cost. About £1 a day
I may just use the interest to pay the extra electric bill
Its so hot tonight I have had to put the electric fan on in my bedroom. 🙄 A few more days forecast of this heat 🥵0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Morning SYA - £1 a day IMO is worth not having that high humidity and the things which can result from it 👍🏻
are there any windows you can put on vent in the kitchen? With pvc ones there is usually a lockable setting which allows them to be open about 1/2cmLancashire

Aquafit was a bit easier today and it was lovely to be in the pool. Called off at asd@ and bought Chinese chicken drumsticks for lunch & had them back at home with salad. They didn’t have any hot roast chickens today. Have earned £5 voucher on the app and won £1 on daily spin 😁 If I shop twice more in September I will get another £5 and two more free daily spins. I like free money 😊
SQS I don’t have trickle vents but do try to have windows open daily to change the air indoors. They are closed when the dehumidifier is on. I have half a bucket of water collected from the shower / dehumidifier for watering the new plants tonight. I will have another half a bucket when I wash up before the water starts warming up.The dehumidifier costs 8.8062p per hour based on my current tariff on its top setting so hopefully it will not be as much as I thought. I think using the humidifier vs potential damp, condensation or mould is a no brainer.

Thanks dia. If I run the dehumidifier 10 hours a day, 30 days a month it would cost £26 a month. As it will not be full blast for 10 hours a day it should be less than that. I do have a little wiggle room in my budget to cover it. Especially now I have a water meter fitted.I have had a letter from the water company. They have refunded £43.47 of the £48.90 I paid on 1st Sept. Then I will pay £24 a month from 1 October. Hopefully that will cover my actual water usage when they read my meter. I will put the credit into my gas & electric pot when it hits my bank account.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
