Weather is glorious today. Am sat in the garden enjoying the warmth. One load of washing done and hung out.In my slow cooker today is curried parsnip soup. 😋 Using up leftover 2 parsnips and 1 carrot with a small onion and chicken stock (from a cube) plus 1 teaspoon of curry powder.I have frozen the remaining chicken and got a medallion steak out of the freezer for tea tonight with fried mushrooms, peppers and onions.I am going to sit in the garden this afternoon and read a book. Then off to my friends house for a cuppa & chat.Tomorrow is aqua fit then I will drive to east coast for the weekend. I have an appointment with GP next week about the pain in my shoulder. May be a rotator cuff problem 😕0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks for the soup recipe such a good idea to add curry powder to parsnip as it will give some oomph to the sweetness of the parsnip.Have a wonderful weekend xxLancashire

Weather is lovely so far here in Scarboro’ ☀️ Drive over yesterday was busy so was glad to get here. Filled the car up with petrol after aquafit, just over half a tank bought £32.55 and should be enough to get here and back and last the rest of the month. I don’t usually fill up but when I am driving any distance on my own I like to know I am not going to run out of fuel. I also made sure my breakdown cover includes running out of fuel. Even though I never have run out, you never know! 😆
Just having a relaxing chilled out day. About to go for a walk down the sea front. B-in-law and nephew are due to play cricket later for local team so hope the forecast rain doesn’t stop play. I don’t particularly like cricket but it’s more interesting if someone you know is playing! We will take deck chairs and a picnic.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Are you able to fix a water butt to your guttering, it will help build up a supply for your garden; which is coming along nicely. Alpines were a good price.
Hope you find out what is causing the pain and quickly get it resolved.

Thanks MF. Had a lovely weekend. Drove home yesterday in torrential rain. Collected meds from chemist then went to asd@ and got a cooked chicken for dinner with swede & carrot mash and broccoli from the freezer
I have had a phone call from the physio and she said it sounds like a rotator cuff problem, as I suspected. I have a face to face next Monday. No aqua fit on Friday as I am going away again for the weekend. Will see what the physio advises when I see her. Hopefully aquafit can continue as I am starting to enjoy it and it’s a full body workout.Today I am going to the garden centre with DF. May get a bit of lunch while we are there 😁 Sun is shining at the moment. I have one load of washing out on the line. I also need to do a bit of food shopping.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Glad you had a nice mini break. Cricket sounded nice too.
I'm a big fan of soup. When I move I will resume soup for lunch every day

Thanks @SuzeQStan and @doingitanyway
I bought 2 packs of crocus bulbs for £5 on buy one get one free. Total 30 bulbs. DF is going to help me plant them today.I haven’t done any shopping yet. I defrosted a chicken breast out of the freezer for dinner and cooked it with fresh courgettes, green pepper and onions and some fajita spice. I got a wrap and some grated cheese from the freezer and used a little leftover natural yoghurt instead of sour cream. I also took a pack of liver from the freezer to defrost for dinner tonight. I have half a swede left in my fridge to use up and DF brought me carrots and green beans from his allotment. Any leftovers will be frozen.I will pop to the local supermarket today just to get some fruit and milk to last the next 2 days.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
