Escape to the country & living off savings

Went to aquafit this morning £7.90. Did what I could and had a chat to a few of the other ladies. Not sure that I could say I enjoyed it. It was quite painful at times. But my neck and shoulders feel loosened up a bit so I have booked to go again next week.Called off at the supermarket on the way home and bought a large fresh cooked chicken £6.99. Had some for lunch with salad. It’s showery and windy but I have washed my swimsuit and towels and hung them out. Hopefully they will dry.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Use bland veg as soup / stew thickeners, another of your 5-a-day.
Try to get a booking with the hairdresser as they're usually back to back apts with local ones, and an occasional cancellation appears too.
AF does get slightly easier as you now know what to expect or book / attend a normal swim session, it will help loosen your joints.
Good choice of film and meal after!
You're doing so well getting proper fresh veg. See if any of them have surplus herbs and pop a mix into ice cube trays.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks MF. I am waiting for my friends niece to return from holiday as she is a self employed hairdresser.Unfortunately I cannot swim as I have limited mobility in my left shoulder. I can do aquafit, sometimes with one arm, but can imagine going round in circles if I try swimming with one arm 😆
I do have a huge tub of herbs growing in the garden. Chives, thyme and rosemary at the moment. Once all the weeds are dead in the main bed I will plant them up, apart from the mint which will remain in its own pot to stop it spreading. From the allotment yesterday DF brought crispy romaine lettuce, tomatoes, courgettes and rhubarb. Today I am cooking tandoori chicken thighs and a vegetable tray bake with peppers, mushrooms, courgettes, onions. I stewed the rhubarb with some artificial sweetener and there is enough for a couple more days. 😋
Its very grey and raining today so I don’t think I will be going far. Will try to get a walk later if it stops raining.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Gentle bobbing about if not swimming. I tend to do the back stroke, gently kicking my legs with the occasional open / close arms a bit.
DF is doing really well with his produce. Next time you go shopping buy a packet of crumble topping and longlife cream ready for when another helping of rhubarb is provided; might have to be a regular supermarket to get a suitable mix or you could try making your own if you've a mixer or possibly hand blender.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
I’ve been reducing carbs and sugar since the beginning of July but fell off the wagon last night with cheesy chips & Bolognese sauce plus chocolate gateau 😋 with delivery £10.70. Only ate half the chips but regretted the rest overnight, tossing and turning and awake at 3am with torrential rain outside and acid indigestion inside! So I have been swigging reflux liquid from the bottle and managed to get a bit more sleep. Have just taken my reflux tablets so hopefully will be ok today. Back on the wagon. Out to lunch later with my old school friend & will make better choices.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

We are all allowed an occasional relapse! However, that was from one extreme to the other!0

Had a better day yesterday. One load of washing dried on the line. Went out to lunch with my friend. I paid for the food £15.65 & she bought the drinks. I am planning to go food shopping today. Remaining in current account £81.12 until I pay myself from savings on Monday 31st. Not much planned apart from aquafit on Friday £7.900% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hey SYA - well done on the Aquafit - the more you get into it the easier it will become and the sense of achievement you get along with the endorphins is addictive!
