Oh your poor m&d SuzeQ lol. Did you manage to eat the burger?Hope you managed to get through to the bank badmemory 🤞
I have had a lovely day today. Hung out a wash which has dried outside. Sunny and warm day. Picked up my friend & went to m&s cafe for lunch. I had tomato and basil soup & hot chocolate. Friend had a toastie and coffee total just under £20 from entertainment pot. Not cheap but I could taste the soup and the chocolate. Also got a 60th birthday card for my friends sister £1.99 from birthday pot. Back to drop friend off and popped in for a cuppa.I’ve just made a traybake of tandoori chicken and roasted veg with butternut squash, courgettes, peppers, onions and garlic. Also added the last half dozen mini toms picked from my plant weeks ago and finally ripened. Smells amazing hope I can taste it 😋0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Tandoori chicken was lovely thanks SuzeQ 😊
DF is sounding and feeling a lot better this morning.I’ve been sneezing and runny nose this morning hope I’m not starting with something else. Chilli in the slow cooker today. Fell asleep on the sofa around 9pm for about an hour last night and then I went to bed but couldn’t sleep until after 2am. Have made a list of things that need doing around the houseSpeed mop floors
Wash door mats & the speed mop cloths
Hoover carpets on stairs and bedrooms
Clean kitchen cupboards & put in dehumidifier pot. The salt in my food cupboard has gone damp and the bottom of tins are leaving rusty rings so I bought a moisture and damp trap yesterday b n m £1.49 with 2 refills included. DF drilled holes in the cupboard weeks ago to allow airflow but it’s damp despite that and my dehumidifier. I think this will be a job for today. I can empty the cupboard while sitting on a chair and then give it a good clean & dry before putting everything back
Clean out cupboard under stairs
Clean bedroom windows
Wash down wardrobes
Wash bedroom coving
Wash front door inside and out
I will steadily work through the list over the next few weeks.

Hey Sya, Good news about df. I do admire you for making a jobs list. I can never stick to one, preferring to clean as jobs jump out at me. So for example, I never plan to clean the windows but one day the sun just catches it and I give in and get stuck in! I randomly cleaned out the cutlery drawer today. The drawer is under the hob and somehow the makings of a dinner for two seem to ḍrop in there over time ha ha. Visits from my late mother used to be my biggest incentive to get the vacuum out, but now I don't have her to impress I usually have to have a word with myself to pull all the furniture out to to it properly. I think i need a rota but I can never muster up the enthusiasm

Glad to see you're on the slow road to recovery. Sniffles etc seem to randomly come and go.

Thanks Tresinia & MF 😊
I have always liked a good list. Not as necessary now I live alone in a smaller house with no dogs. 😉 What I love these days is if I clean and tidy it stays that way for much longer.Yesterday I hoovered my bedroom and hung out a wash. Felt a bit wheezy. Picked up some stuff for DF and 2 x fish and chips for lunch. £8.20 for 2 from entertainment fund. I dropped DF’s at his house then ate mine at home and watched tv / read my book. Had another sneezing half hour last night but thankfully haven’t sneezed since.Just waiting for towels to finish washing and will hang them out. Bit cloudy but mild and breezy. I have just finished hoovering the spare room and stairs so am lounging on the sofa to get my breath back.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

2 x fish and chips for 8. 20 is good. Did they include mushes for that price? Need to watch that wheezing, get it checked out if it lingers1

That was just small fish & small chips no mushy peas. They also do a small fish, small sausage (plain or battered), small chips & mushies or gravy or curry sauce £5.30.Dark and grey & foggy this morning. Have cleaned the bathroom. Am going to pop to asd@ for a hot roast chicken later. Friend has invited me round this afternoon for a cuppa and cake 😋 so I will have a walk down the village. I have my flu jab tomorrow at the Dr. If the weather is nice I might try and walk up the hill to the surgery.Have spoken to DF and he is fully recovered and day 6 so he is off food shopping. He had much milder symptoms than me thankfully. No fever, no loss of taste or smell. So glad he is ok0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Checked the asd@ app this morning and they are selling 2 tubs of xmas chocs for £9 but you can get a £4 off coupon on the app. Checked with DF and got him a tub of Q street and celeb for £5. As I’m trying not to eat chocs I didn’t get any for myself.
Lots of people were struggling to get in the app & it seems to have crashed since.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sya, Good news about df. Great deal on choccies but once word gets out about a great deal, there's usually a run on it, they will probably pull it if it's too successful. Don't have the Asda app myself. We are getting a brand new Aldi built on our road where we live, less than a 5 min walk so hubby is going to get one of those trolley things and switch all our shopping there! I've said those trolleys are for old people but then he reminded me he is fast approaching 70 so thinks he qualifies 😄 and says he need never put petrol in the car again. Not sure about that but good to have the Aldi on the doorstep. Will be looking out for offers, it opens its doors for first time on 7 November2
