I'm sure the way they word it is accidental too!   They are probably wondering why they don't get repeat bookings.

Yes, it's very frustrating, I've been beating myself up about it all morning. I'm annoyed though, it is extremely misleading and obviously a very deceptive way of operating. I'll triple check next time. I've sent £20 to the credit card, will send more as I can afford to. I don't really want to raid the savings but I may have to. :(

Last night OH and popped to Asd& and picked up some good YS bargains - Plant based sausages and meatballs for 20p a pack. We picked up a coupe each and left the rest there for others, there were loads. I've cooked a 'sausage' sandwich for my brunch today and they're really quite nice. If there's any left later today I might pick up a couple more packs to freeze.

It is the modern version of a scam that unfortunately you cannot actually call a scam.  So annoying!

The hope of a nice weekend went awry as OH tested positive for COVID on Saturday, just a few hours after we were saying we were lucky to have avoided it thus far. Poor thing is suffering, hopefully it doesn’t get any worse.
I made the decision to remove all but £50 from the Premium bond account and put it in a reasonable interest paying account instead. I’ve not been lucky with PB’s at all and only ever had one win of £25 and that was when there was over £20k of house renovation money in there. Once it’s in the bank account I will send it to the savings pot and probably clear the credit card of the annoying hotel payment as having it on the credit card as a debt is playing on my mind. I’ll build the savings up again next pay day.
Today I made and sent out an Etsy order that came in over the weekend. The money from that has already hit the account so I sent it to the savings pot.
I have loads of washing to do but was hoping for a dry day to dry it on the line instead of using the tumble dryer. Think that may be wishful thinking this week looking at the weather forecast though. :(

I've listed 3 items on FB this morning and renewed a few more that haven't sold. Hopefully they bring in a few more £'s. I'm considering selling the equipment and remaining materials I bought for my business idea as it's not proving very successful and I would like to recoup some of the money back that I spent on it. I'm pretty gutted really as I was really excited about 'making' things again. I'll have think over that one for a while first though.

One load of washing is done and has been dried in the TD. The weather has brightened up though since so I'm hoping the second load can go outside when it's finished washing.

Tea is sorted for DS and I - YS 'meatless' balls I bought the other day and I'll make some veg-packed sauce and pasta.

I'm annoyed today as a neighbour who backs directly onto me is a builder who has been building a house (for years) and has been promising to do some work to his wall on my part of the boundary since I moved here. It looks like he's now changed his mind, so I'll have to do it myself. I can't afford to pay anyone so I'll have to leave it as it is for now - unsightly as it is. I'm really disappointed about it and disappointed in the neighbour as I've put up with a lot from them since moving here.

I'm feeling rather deflated about everything tbh. :(

Oh @MeandO Sorry to hear you are down in the dumps.  That's really annoying your neighbour won't so what he promised to with the wall.  And super annoying about the hotel!  If you can't get a refund then I suppose you will just have to write it off and enjoy the little holiday when it come.  My car boot has also just stopped opening.  I am going to have to have a google and see what if anything can be done by me to fix it.

It must be a bad month for car boots Elisheba! Mine opens from the side and is not an easy fix but there is a YouTube video that explains how to do it with the correct part so we will give it a go. I hope yours is an easier fix.

I’ve shuffled the savings around now with £2400 now in the pot that earns me the best interest. I did use savings to pay the credit card bill off again after the hotel fiasco so my savings are down on what they were. The overtime I’m working presently should cover that when I get paid though and I’ll hopefully be able to put it straight into the savings pot.
I also sent £20 to the mortgage as a small OP.
I seem to have OH’s COVID symptoms now but I’m still not testing positive despite feeling rough for a few days. Will keep testing and see if I get the dreaded two lines. OH is still testing positive 6 days in with no sign of the line fading yet, poor thing.
