Hardcore MS'ing move there having the washing out in Nov! Go you 💪🏻. I put mine out for the last time before those storms last week and a downpour out of nowhere meant I got soaked, my washing was wetter than it had gone out and it was as stiff as a board too some of it 🤣 I gave up at that point lol…

So glad you had a good time at your m&d house. Do they live far away? Have you considered relocating slightly closer to where you consider home? I always feel displaced I think it's why I've moved around so much looking for 'home' but never found it yet.

I hope DS has come home happy to you ❤️🙏🏻.

I’m a making the most of the windy day and slight bit of sunshine DFW321! If it ‘ain’t raining, it’s going out there! It was mostly all dry too, just a few heavier items are now on the airer to dry completely. I’ll call that a success!

Yes, I live a 3-4 hour (on a good day) drive away from all my family unfortunately. 😕 Moving closer isn’t an option due to DS. I wish I had done when DS was small and the ex and I split, but I was trying to do the right thing for everyone (else) at the time and didn’t feel it was right of me to move DS so far away from his Dad, for either of them. It’s also a very expensive area in which to buy a property and would be unaffordable for me now, sadly. I think the DS situation would be so much easier if I had family and old friends close by to lean on, but it is what it is. 😕

I can totally relate to trying to find ‘home’ too. 💕

DS was relatively happy, although I feel like it would take the slightest thing to make him kick off. It’s like there’s land mines hidden around the house and I’m trying not to step on one. 🙄 He has been a little bit obtuse but I’ve chosen to ignore those bits for now, am trying to pick only the battles that need to be fought from now on. I just want to get through today with no arguments or attitude, I think I may need some luck on that front.

I forgot a couple of items we needed this morning so nipped to the shop whilst picking up my prescription earlier and spent another £8.61. It’s shocking how expensive everything now is.

Right, off to see if the teen wants food yet, crash helmet is ready… 🙃
