Thank you for the joke. The old ones are the best.

Getting back to the original vent, if I may, it can be a bit annoying to plough through 3 pages of 'thank you for that' in the search for information, but I also find it slightly discouraging if someone asks a question to which I can, I think, give an intelligent answer, and I give an intelligent answer, spending perhaps 10 minutes on it, sometimes saying "Have you done x? Did you think of Y?" ...

... and then the original poster never responds!

The odd bit of positive feedback is very welcome, as is the occasional PM - otherwise it's just like talking to my family, where no-one listens to what I say anyway! ;D

So after all that,I presume the right thing to do is to post a thankyou?
As a newbie I had wondered about this one, I thought it might be a bit like ebay feedback, and if I dont say thanks, people wont bother to respond to my future posts.
Hadn't considered disc space, is this an issue? or has rufus just got such an idylic life he has nothing important to worry about? Personaly I appreciate a thankyou, especialy when I've gone out of my way to help a stranger.
So thanks to all you lot, love the site.
