I added this 'vent' to a thread before, but I now feel compelled to post separately.

My annoyance is with people that post a message on the MSE to say 'thanks for this'

I know this is mean spirited but do the people posting the tip need or want to hear this feedback..?? These messages will undoubtedly take up disk space,

Err m8, just like the disk space that YOU have used up doing this thread ...but as they say "its nice to be nice"Thanks anyway for your input ;D
