As per Johny86's thread we have also received the Claimant'ss Direction's Questionaire from UKPC/DCBL
but nothing from the court as yet.

Should we be chasing this up or just twiddle our thumbs until that arrives?

    Thanks.

You could check your MCOL status page to see what info you can find there.

Still no change on the court Summary page after the defence received on the 27th March, actually submitted on the 24th March.

Do we need to chase this?

    Thanks.

There is a backlog at the CCBC of several weeks so your defence may not have been sent to the claimant yet, or they may have received it but are still inside their four week window to respond.

Do we need to chase this?
You can if you've got a spare hour or two hanging on the line listening to CCBC muzak and being repeatedly told that you're in a queue and that your call is so important to them, to finally get through to someone who will tell you there is an admin backlog at the CCBC.

Alternatively periodically check your MCOL history.  Your DQ will come through - eventually.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

The letter from DCBL was received almost a month ago stating they were going to continue (they emailed copies to me on the 29/4)
so had expected something by now.

    Thanks.

Finally got the N180 paperwork.  Didn't chase it up,  just sat and twiddled our thumbs enjoying the weather.  :)

Couple of questions regarding the choice of court, We live near a City but Mum lives in a village on the coast, she will only drive
locally so we need to take her there either way.  Are there any rules on it being closer to where she lives or can we
choose somewhere more local to us and bring her here instead?

We chose a court on a different matter but it got transferred to the closer one, just slightly harder to park so we didn't
bother chasing them on the issue. Any judges at Lincoln or Boston that hate UKPC?   :)

What do you mean, you just sat and twiddled tour thumbs? I hope you haven't missed the deadline to submit the N180.

You can choose any court you like.

The court won't matter because if this is about a single PCN and brought by DCBLegal, then they will discontinue.

But if your mum is by the coast in Southampton definitely choose there. Great court!

Lincoln/Boston has a BAD reputation as they got into a habit of (we say) blindly allowing claims by TPS at the Pilgrim Hospital.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Fruitcake the N180 only arrived yesterday, think it needs to be returned by the 7th July?

It's taken several months since the AOS (mid March) and Defence (late March), we got the UKPC letter soon after as expected but
not the N180 from the court just UKPC's version. Anyway it's here now so we can crack on with it.  :)

Coupon-mad.   I think we may choose somewhere local to me then and bring her here (Midlands).  Sadly not Southampton.

Were Pilgrim late to parking charges and companies?  We were there in 2016 and the receptionist vented her disgust of parking charges.
She helped us get free exits passes.
