@forgotmyname, Would you be willing to bet against the odds that this will never get to a court hearing, whatever court is chosen. You are dealing with the bottom-dwelling duo of UKPC and DCB Legal, two of the most intellectually malnourished firms involved in the unregulated private car parking scam.

If it was someone else then yes I would put money on it not getting that far but knowing our luck it will go
all the way.

Either way we need to push on as if it will go all the way. Don't want to drop a clanger. Need to be prepared.
Mums already bored by it all and all she does it send the stuff to me..

You can either use the N180 sent to you by the court, or you can download one yourself. Never use the one sent to you by the claimant.

Their settlement offer has arrived.   £240,   no idea where they plucked that figure from.  Do they just pick random
numbers to help track down people asking for help or am I overthinking?   

Any advantages or disadvantages of sending a reply?

This is a closed case now,  I have already posted in the "DISCONTINUATIONS"  thread..

The £240 went down to £200 a few weeks back which we also ignored, received the court date which was late January...

Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.  

The attached has also been filed with the Court.
