Morning turtles!!
I’m feeling much brighter today…. almost back to normal. I can’t remember the last time I had a bug that nasty. Anyway I’m here I can’t wait to get started with the challenge, will have a proper think today. I love the quotes, especially the one about being unsure, thank you grandmanerd.I am grateful for getting a good night sleep, for trash tv getting me thorough the past week and for having some motivation back.Student loan £5655

Today me will live in the moment unless it's unpleasant in which case me will eat a cookie (Cookie Monster).I got up this morning and the empty biscuit packet was in the bin. If the present is unpleasant I will have to bake the cookies to eat the cookies, which might make it more pleasant
. C is for Cookie - that's good enough for me!
House full of people today, school is on strike (no picket line though!) .Budgets set - house insurance due at the end of the month so will research that today, and an ISA with a decent % rate needs to be found. Plus PMQs should be good today.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Good morning,
the month starts with a work from home day as the schools are on strike. While some files uploaded I dragged the kids out for a top up shop. We did a wee German lesson in the shop and a sneaky maths lesson after as they spend some of their pocket money on mugs.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/258 -

When I renewed my garden waste permit on the council website a month ago I found you can report potholes. And low and behold they fixed our road today 👍
We knew that FIL (84) is getting more forgetful and now after 5 months we finally have a diagnosis, early Alzheímer's, Dementïa and brain shrïnkage. At least now we know for sure and that it's not just old age and us imagining it and it opens more options for help to prolong his independence.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/2510 -

Re advanced planning, I'm planning for September already. Smug face is on!😎Today I am grateful for my counsellor and the overview and insight he gives me, for striding out, for my gym session, for not popping in to liddle to look for bargains, for a fantabulous meeting with the nice dep head at dc's school, for a coffee with dh, for my washing machine and airer, for a list to tackle tomorrow.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8

Okay, today was a spendy old day, I need some copies of birth certs that I have never had -a long copy of mine + my mum's and my grandfather's so have written and requested them from the relevant Repository, and my parents' marriage certificate that I managed to track down to the nearest 3 months in 1972. So a lot of certification, but it should some in handy if I am going to be a dual national at any point in the future. It is all rather tricky when you don't have a good relationship with family....or they are simply bonkers and bizarrely secretive
I only found out for certain that my parents were married when I was about 20 and my Aunt told me she had been a witness at the registry office. Anyway, a bit of one-off life admin hopefully sorted.

NSD 1.
Grateful today for OH working from home and being able to entertain DS for some of the day, for advice from Mum on not stressing about a job I've been tasked with at work, for a first try at a recipe working out well at dinner, for dry mild weather meaning today's washing load dried outside, and for our peaceful spare bedroom that often feels like a relaxation room because it's so clear and bright (south-facing window with a view of just sky if you slump back on the sofa bed)
