Smart meters are not the only conspiracy theories floating round the forum.
  • What do you mean?

I have never been a member of this forum before, you think I have?
Sorry, evidently mistook you for someone (in a good way, take it as a compliment) - but realised it wasn't necessary to say anything anyway and deleted my post.
Sorry you saw it before I thought better of it :/
I thought you were accusing me of doing something underhand!

I have never been a member of this forum until recently and I only joined to post something helpful to somebody.

    I am beginning to wish I hadn't.

I am pretty sure I have not posted anything to be ashamed of, sorry if I have.

What on earth is wrong with people that makes them all so suspicious! This is a money saving forum and this part about energy related matters.

I cannot for the life of me think what I have to gain by pretending to be somebody else?

@matt_drummer I would consider removing the post in which you give quite a large amount of personal information, if I were you!

It’s just been explained that it was a case of mistaken identity in any case- so hopefully your mind has been put at rest by the apology. (Perhaps I should phrase that as “hopefully the apology has given you peace of mind?” 😆)

All good, I'm not that person, although it sounds like it wouldn't have been bad if I was!

and it REALLY confused me how my post that words could be read in differnt ways could be read as accusing someone of being a sock puppet :D
Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.

That's because a post was deleted whilst I was replying.

I don't know how to remove it?

    I think it's `locked' after a while?

This has all gone a bit weird from `having a smart meter'!
  • I managed to delete it.

Not sure anybody would want to pretend to be me though!
