The oldest things I still wear regularly are German paratrooper boots like these.
They were second hand when I bought them nearly 20 years ago. Really, really comfortable and with a feature that lets you unfasten them and get them off in moments rather than having to loosen all the laces.0 -
I have a lovely suede jacket my Nan bought the year after Dad was born so its 57 years old. I love it to bits but its looking grubby now. I have had it relined but cannot find a company that will clean it as they cannot guarantee the end result or if there is even an end item!
But I cannot fit into it at the moment anyway so it's not a huge problem!0 -
I have some Victorian and Edwardian pieces, which don;t often get worn
I'll add this to the existing thread, where you can see the ages of other posters' clothing.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
I've got a knock off black designer jumper that my mum and dad bought me back from Turkey about 16 years ago. I still wear it a lot but it's getting a little tired that every time i do my mum and dad say "have you still got that jumper, we got that in Turkey" Erm yes, i still had it last week too :rotfl:0

I have a black lacy shawl that my mother gave me to wear with my LBD on a night out and then let me keep. My dad had bought it for her on their honeymoon, in 1960. It's beautiful, but something I don't wear often! Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

A Black velvet jacket with lace from about 1989. I never wear it now, as I would look rather silly, but I could never throw it away.
Apart from that, it must be my dressing gown which is about 8-9 years old and possibly a long black coat thats about the same age. It used to be completely waterproof but isn't any more. Still in good nick though.0
