  • Ah okay, in that case I will (re) familiarise myself with points 8/9/10 on NEWBIES Sticky, fill out accordingly when I get it and go from there.

    My thanks

  • Hi all

So on Friday I received the below from DCB Legal - as suspected an offer to settle out of court. They want to reduce the amount by £40 - made me laugh out loud

Obviously I completely disagree with this and will continue contesting the whole amount. I will continue to ignore the emails, the main question I have is that I haven't yet received the N180 - Defence sheet yet, am I right in saying this is normal and I will get it once DCBL tell the Courts that they haven't been able to agree an out of court settlement..

     Thank you

Of course you ignore that letter and any further letters.

Be patient, and just wait for the discontinue letter
  • Thank you - and the court sending the N180 / Defence - this is normal that I haven't received it yet?

    My thanks

  • Hi All,

So today I got a letter through "Notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track"

highlighted that I've filed a defence and to complete  the C1 Box and by 11th September I must complete the small claims direct questionnaire (N180) as expected.

I'll follow the NEWBIES guidance as previously suggested. annoyingly the letter is dated 23rd august and only just posted to my home address today...

Is there a link that that I can deliver the questionnaire on so I dont have to complete it by paper and post it back

Fingers crossed for a discontinuation once all filed

    Thank you x

No link but of course you will be emailing it anyway because the first 12 steps in the TEMPLATE DEFENCE thread tell you that.
