Yes, signed up online on Thursday evening, e mail etc accepted on Friday morning.  Import showed on the account within a few minutes but no sign of export, monitored it over the weekend but nothing changed.  Phoned Monday and sorted whilst I was on the phone.  Both up and running now.

For people taking up this tariff who are on FIT have you moved the generation FIT to octopus as well as the metered export?

@mickyduck55 Last October when I spoke to Octopus they said they didn't support FITS, so I've just left the generation fit with my current FITS provider.

Phoned Octopus this morning they have now update my Outgoing to Flux

Had a wonderful 5 days of solar so far. Finding it had to resist the urge to join Flux! Waiting until the clocks go forward, but might take the plunge a bit sooner if this good weather continues.

Looks like anyone who has been switched to Outgoing Flux was at the front of the queue

I have just had this via email

"Hope all is well! I have spoken to our smart tariff team, they have informed me that even with things sped up for you onboarding would take a minimum of two weeks and there is unfortunately no way to shorten this onboarding time frame.

I would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you."

Ooo that's interesting. I'm now wondering whether to take the plunge now if there is a few weeks wait.

I had an email this afternoon from Octopus asking whether I wanted to move just my FITS export to Octopus, or FITS Generation and export to Octopus, so yes you can most certainly move it all over to Octopus.

I think the people that are getting on to Flux Export quickly, are the ones that already exported via Octopus, it seems if you didn't it takes longer to change things over, they told me via Twitter it could be up to 6 to 8 weeks, but hopefully quicker.
