Niv said:How do you see the tariffs for export? I have gone on the octopus website and cant find them (only the import ones). Is this something you only see if you are a octopus customer and singed into your account? Or have I missed something obvious on their website?

Cheers.Outgoing Fixed is 15p per KwhSEG is 4.4p per kWhOutgoing Agile is varied every 30 minutes - This site is good for showing what the rates were per region - https://www.energy-stats.uk/octopus-agile-outgoing-export-south-eastern-england/

Bit the bullet and agreed the T&C's in the email. Flux import is showing in my account, just not the export. Responded to the twitter DM mentioning this to see what they say.Wasn't expecting it to be this quick with the mentions of at least 2 week waits!

I'm the same. Signed up today, accepted t&c today, and import is showing already. Fast and slick.
Have adjusted my TOU to partially fill my battery within the cheaper timezone.
Let's see how long it takes for the export to swap from agile outgoing to flux...1 -
Coming to the end of my first day on Flux.Set the batteries to fill to 100% between 2am-5am. Used 5.6kWh = £1.19Total exported to the grid today - 9.7kWh = £2.36So £2.36 - £1.19 - 41p SC = 76p profit along with all the free electricity today.Just in comparison, on my previous tariff, I wouldn't have charged the batteries overnight So would have only have exported 4.1kWh at 4p a kWh - 16p profit. If if had decided to charge the batteries on the old tariff, it would have been a 69p profit. So far Flux is winning!1

I think someone on this thread asked about whether the IHD would be updated to reflect this tariff. I asked Octopus as I use Bright to import all my figures into Home Assistant. This was their reply. The problem with the In Home Display (IHD) is that it's an older piece of equipment that isn't manufactured by us, and hence it's not fully compatible with our smart tariffs where the prices change throughout the day. To see your actual usage, I would recommend checking the dashboard after you log in to the account, you can even download some of the data in an Excel form. The good news is that we don't use the IHD to bill you so even if it's showing a higher bill - you won't be charged that. I have sent off an update to the display though but can't promise it will work. I replied back to the above message saying I placed myself on the list for the Octopus Home Mini last year etc. Had a message back today to say I should receive one in the next few weeks!
