Morning all. Happy Sunday.
So far today I have drunk tea, eaten a hot cross bun, sorted some admin & emails and started to prep dog food.
I need to move my backside and try to achieve the following: wash breakfast dishes, get dressed, hoover through, dailies, walk dog, clean 🚗, weed border in front garden and probably other things I can't recall.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning all,
Belated happy birthday, Natty x
Starting on the positives: I’m up, dressed, have had my first cuppa, and the wm is on. Woo hoo!
We had a lovely evening at the NDN’s last night. I managed to sleep through the night with a little help from a otc tablet, so I am gutted to have missed out on the bourbons in the tin. No doubt I will be there tonight for any crumbs that might be left.
Beyond the washing, I need to plan for the day, including sorting out the fridge and a meal plan. There is also a pile of admin growing. As it looks like I will be at work all day, every day next week, I need to get on top of the admin now before frogs start croaking. Ah - DH has just started to plan my day…he can stop that as soon as he likes!
Have a lovely day all. YL, enjoy your bike ride. Iona, I will pm you shortly.

Hello 👋Sorry I haven't been around much - still just plodding along here...I have been sort of following the thread. Belated birthday wishes to Natty. Round, ASB & YL I hope you are feeling better now. Pigpen you will have to let us know what you think of your new DW - I need another soon as the plastic is coming off the racks & they are going rusty & bits breaking off 😕 It is leaving little orange rust marks on things! On top of that, the door is broken and falls down heavily if you let! But it works - so I am procrastinating 🙃 I like the look of the bish bash bosh onesI have wasted the morning phone-faffing 🙄 I have done a wash, and put beef in the SC. Not a lot else though. I need to give myself a kick!!DH is in the loft - ongoing project. He is trying to chuck out at least 2 bin bags a week.I have had a little lunch, and then I think I will pop outside and tidy the garden. Some fighting neighbourhood cats knocked a window box off in the front garden, so that needs cleaning up. I ought to visit the allotment too as I haven't been there for a couple of months!
Enjoy the rest of you day everyone10 -

I tried tidying my room.. I have left it in a worse state than when I started.
I hate this keyboard...
I cleaned the bedroom window and threw a lot in the bin sorted shoes to go to the uniform charity I have a bag of rubbish and 4 empty shoe boxes.. I folded my clothes and filled the small CoD and slid it along about 18 inches. The bed has a mountain of bedding millions of medications and a box of stuff for V!nted/CS
I need to do a bit in the middle room tomorrow but my room is still desperately in need of some tidy and I want it to be a nice restful space not feel like I am sleeping in a charity shop back room!
Pots washed. wasted my time doing dinner..2x WM, I have a pile to hang outside and a pile to hang on the airers.
My feet are killing, I have not a single spoon and I have to find my bed..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -

Today I learned that if you plug in a compressor into the 12v socket in a car and run it for a while you will flatten the car battery.
I also learned that my daughter and I are perfectly capable of jump starting a car without a man and that my NDN has a heavy duty pair of jumpleads.
I also learned that I can cook small gammon joints in my small SC without water.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
