Morning all. Hope you're all ok ok today and that no one was in the WAC.
Up early for work. Basic flying is done this week, so when I finish work, I'm going to have a daytime bath, make a Victoria sponge for dessert tonight and walk the dog. Anything else will be a bonus.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning all xx
You made me laugh piggers ❤. Ouch. Laughing and coughing are contraindicated today as my stomach muscles are very sore 🤕. I have stomach muscles!! Who knew? 😉
So I'm up, made my bed, partaken of tea and toast, and feeling hoooman but rather discombobulated. I seem to have lost a day.
Plans for today are sketchy but I think I might manage to get dressed, feed the birds, and put out the rubbish and recycling.
Take care.
Much love. How are you feeling asb?

Morning all, get well hugs to @Deleted_User and @roundtuit. Hope your both feeling better today. Thank you @Fayolle for the idea to make ginger cake, it's turned out well and very tasty, if anyone would like a slice.
Flying: Yesterday I decluttered 3 cockerels, who were fighting each other, into the freezer. This morning we realised we still have two cockerels. The white one has not crowed until today, must have felt intimidated by the others. So i now have another to sort in the next few days! I've also scrubbed the flour in the utility room/downstairs toilet, to within an inch of it's life, and polished it! All ready for the littlies to pee on it again!
Today I want to get ahead with batch cooking tea for today and tomorrow. We are scanning the sheep in the morning. We only have 20, but we have them scanned with our neighbours sheep, he has around 300. In return for the scanning for free, we help him put his through the scanner. We will be over there for a good part of the day.
Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxx

Afternoon all. I hope that you're beginning to feel less discombulated, round, and that you, asb, are feeling a bit better today too.
Did you come to a decision, Jazee?
Before I forget, good luck to your hubby for next week, CCL2.
A slow start to the day here - I was in the WAC from 4.00 until about 6.00, then slept until DH called up to say that breakfast was on the table at 9.30! A couple of phonecalls later (one of them very looooooong), I have also showered and dressed, done a 5-minute pick-up, made my bed, unpacked my gym bag, started WMx1, agreed with DH that we will go out on Sunday afternoon - leaving what remains of today and tomorrow free for me to clear some papers off my desk and do some long overdue jobs - and made another cuppa.
It was good to meet up with my fellow-patient yesterday. We're both making good progress, but not quite in the same order! She's waited to be called up for Action Heart, so we may see each other again at the gym.
Best get on... See you later xxx11 -
Fiddling around doing daily stuff.WM x 1 out on whirly, it is ment to be sunny, instead it is cold and windy out there, so the clothes may dry slightly.Cats fed and fed again, it seems like to do nothing, but clean up / feed /cuddle various cats, loads of them, plus this morning, there was another one hanging around, so I shooed it away, it didn't look like a stray and seem well fed, but wanted more.Hope those who were / are ill are starting to feel a bit better.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Chemo appointment on Tuesday has been moved (physically) again...now in my local hospital.
Have been wfh but I'm going to have to pop in to work as I need to print a poster and display it.

Yes Iona, I gave them my expectations of the promotion. They are now having to make a decision on if they can meet my expectations. Think they thought they could get me cheap so it may not happen which is also fine.
Everything on my list earlier is done so I'm going to do knitting before DGD1 arrives for her sleepover.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Well done Jazee. I recently found out that I am being significantly underpaid compared to other people locally doing the same job as me so I have asked for a pay rise. I know that money is tight but that's not really my problem.
I have temporarily joined asb and round in the sick bay. I had an awful headache last night so went to bed and slept for 12 hours. Have felt a bit groggy all day but I am fine now.
Paid stuff done, had to visit a client for work so called at Mr M's and carefully followed my list. Went to see Mum and Dad on the way home. Flying has been absolutely zero today so I need to catch up but thats OK. DH not feeling brilliant so think it will be a quiet weekend.
