Glad it was only the gate.  Sorry about DH being in the pub, it's so frustrating for you.

    He's there again. No words.
Aside from that I'm all good. UC is proving to be the pain in the rear that I remember it to be. I don't want to sound ungrateful as I'm hoping we get something though. I have to attend the job center for an appt. In principle I agree that's important when doing a claim but I work and he's off sick. I have to attend he doesn't need to. And the day they are asking for I cannot attend as we are three people down at work already.  Hoping for a new time if UC agree and thankfully I have a half day leave spare I might be able to use for it. And I've had to pay child care normally not with tax free childcare so we can then try to claim it back. Sorry I'll stop moaning now.
Had my blood test at weekend so I've got my tenner voucher for the research study. Picked Amazon as I couldn't face trying to get a food voucher to work at the supermarket checkout. Will use for the littles b days which are all in the next two months. Fairly easy way to make a fast buck and I had my weight and blood pressure checked whilst there. Weight has gone up again -boo. Must find time.to exercise/walk somewhere 😂

I think you definitely need to have a good vent now and again.  Your OH is not being helpful.  I'm assuming there's no way you could convince him to take on some of the childcare whilst he's off to save some money?

We would have to give four weeks notice to leave after school club and then would risk loosing our slot. No win situation really. Our childcare is so much less than it used to be thank goodness. It's almost tempting to cancel it anyway as they go in year six next time. No idea what I would do for May June and July though and even when they are allowed to walk in year six im not happy they are mature enough yet as there's some big roads and it's a half hr walk

Almost tempted to fluff the claim so we are penni-less to show him how much he spends on booze but he'd still have his ssp so he wouldn't really be penni-less would he.

Got a weekend slot for my apt with UC which is good. Didn't realize they did that. Otherwise plodding on till Friday. 44 pounds left but two prescriptions to buy. Need to find out what that costs? Ten/eleven quid each maybe. Off to Google it

Glad you've got a reasonable slot.  That's a shame about the childcare, I'm very lucky in that ours is flexible.  Our school allows them to walk from yr 5, so I'm training little miss now by getting her to tell me when it's safe to cross when we're walking.  It is very anxiety inducing though. We're about 20 minutes away, no major roads, but two busyish ones with not great visibility.

Yeah its a big school so plenty competition for the places. Loads of kids go and they always claim to be full if you try and ask for an extra.
    Payday today
Need to work out a small budget as DH wages have reduced now. He's at the pub again but unfortunately neither me or the kids were surprised when he announced he was going.
Anyways go to sort tea budget and hopefully after housework relax. I'm really ready for it to be Friday this week!!!
