Yes it's gone up so much hasn't it.  I can spend over a tenner on cereal a week at the moment and still run out let alone bread milk and food for meals. It's crackers.  One child has school dinner the other two packed lunches. School dinners aren't cheap but I do wonder with cost of things at shops whether the school dinners would work out cheaper/plus no waste. I'm not sure the other twos pack ups are any cheaper now than her school dinner. 

I remember many many years ago as a student. (Back end of the 90s) doing a weekly shop at Aldi for anything between 7 and 10 pounds. Including cheese and meat. Now I've spent that much before I've gone through the fruit and veg section!

And yes top up shops are a total curve ball to a budget aren't they!

Debts still sub 20 k and hopefully will stay at that level pending disaster. 8 days till payday and it seems I'm getting a payrise next year. Yippee. I think this will be an extra 40-50 a month so thankfully should cover increases in bills. (c tax bill not yet landed!) 
Just seem to be busy keeping up with general day to day stuff at the moment.  No idea where the time goes. Also feel we need a big declutter as house is a tip and that's not helping !

I've been slacking at filling out my diary so much so I had to search to find it today. Determined to have a sort out and declutter today once I get off the internet! 
Will start Tilly tallies again from today. Had a week off as was to the wire with the bank accounts.

I know how you feel about everything going up - I've just renewed my car insurance - up from £370 per year to £530. Pet food is also going up every couple of months it seems. We used to joke about living on beans and toast but even tinned food is getting ridiculous!

Thankyou wildheart83. I think I need the luck. Limping it till payday as I have spent nearly 15 quid on unexpected hospital parking this weekend. Never rains but it pours eh! And yes everything still going up. Budget food in supermarkets especially let alone the posh branded stuff. I ordered a tin of beans and sausage with a weekly shop and I swear it was double what it used to be.
Attempting some tidying and relaxing today. Budget learn to cope with what we have starts again tomorrow:)

Been busily reading othe diaries for inspiration. I've been in debt since I left college and went to university. It's ridiculous isn't it. It's gonna take a while but I'm determined to be debt (not including mortgage) free. Bank accounts not looking clever but it's payday on Friday so can limp it through .

Attempting a really low spend week. Had to get petrol as I'm running on fumes but aside from food hoping not to spend any more. At least till payday anyhow!
