I figured it's best just done and dusted. It wasn't an intentional debt. Tax credits always ended up incorrect by the end of the year despite my updates..I'm hoping we don't owe anything else to them.
Next I think it's getting the e fund up. Never gonna get out of the pickle we are in without a decent back up am i

Morning all. Sun is shing. Tilly tallies done. In previous diaries it would have gone to debts but at the moment they going on the Xmas pot which is now up to 63 quid. Not sure that will cover Xmas but there is time yet 🙂
Free activity planned with the kids today so today is hopefully low spend and a bit of shopping. Dog looks like it needs the vets again for a limp but he's half walking half hopping this morning so will see how it goes later today. Hopefully fine as there is no pot of money for the dog and dh has just messaged me as I type to say he hads overspent and not enough in his bank for his d debits .....no comment on that one. Always something eh

There is always something isn't there.  Enjoy your time in the sun, we need to take it when we can!

Yes always is. Especially with mr can't budget for toffee. Dog has stopped limping. Likely a jolt from something he did yesterday. He's back to being a mad puppy again. Spend today was ten pounds. Not high not low, more importantly not horrific.

Me too. Cost a fortune so far without anything else being needed
Small Tilly tally today 41 pence to savings pot. And top up shop due any time. Was strict emptying things out of the basket before I pressed the final order. No real plans today. Arts and crafts and avoiding house work I think!

Tilly tallies done. 21 days till payday eeek.
Pre paid activity planned for today courtesy of group on.
Also I updated my meter readings at beg of April and had a stats moment and looked at last year's reading. So from April to April I've used 12328 gas (so almost average) and 4169 electricity. (Not so average) I've looked at average electric use and at approx 8 units a day I'm not sure a family of five can get that low.
We have however decreased over the year.
I don't know my use the previous year but my last bill before avro went bust estimated a projected annual use of 14819 gas and 4912 electricity. (We had no kitchen floor at that point so was loosing a lot of heat....)
More work to be done especially at current prices but actually we did manage to cut down so it's a bit of a win!
