I've worked in my current job for nearly seven years so any interview practice is good.. Just a pain I'm working on my day off now to pay back the hrs for a job I didn't get . That's gonna sting!. Hee heeJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

So as it stands by the times it's payday my debts are gonna be same or slightly higher than at last payday..I will however get my backpay. Although I have great plans in my mind for this in reality it's just gonna keep me ticking over. Formal numbers again at end of the month. Operation keep spends low continues until then.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

So operation keep spends low has hit a snag. Everyone passed there swimming and is being moved up a stage. So spends.ob certificate and badges. They deserve them though. They've worked hard!Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Well done to the children! Ours have just stopped charging for badges and certificates, it was a nice surprise!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

That would be a nice surprise. Tbh they've only done this stage here so we've never had to buy badges or anything before as the lessons they went to didn't give awards. I just guessed what to enter them for based on what I could see in class. Since mid April they've all completed the stage I put them in so my guess was probably about right. Just meant they had 20 25 50 metre type things as well between them. Purse took a battering.....
And I've just read the kit list for year six adventure holiday. We have most things thank goodness but Keeping afloat whilst the debts sit in the corner of the room is the new title of the diary !!!!Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

It is neverending! I've had to buy new trainers for them both this week, and also some summer sandals."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

I think we need them too. I have already given the teachers the nod that trainers are in place till end of term for at least one child. Her trainers are slightly bigger than the school shoes that she has grown out of already. And eldests's school shirts are looking tight on him as he's had a few inches growth in a matter of weeks. He has to try and last five weeks without growing. He leaves in five weeks I can't be buying new uniform nowJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

My DD2's shoes are disgraceful but I refuse to buy another pair this close to the end of term. Like you she will be wearing whatever shoe is holding together and the correct size until then. I had to buy some for DS at the beginning of the summer term as the sole was flapping badly and no amount of super glue was keeping it there. I am hoping for no more growth spurts tooMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
