NeverendingDMP said:No spend day today. Feels like a while since I've had one of those. And I've exercised twice this week. To no avail as I was then mad hungry and are loads more. Exercise is good for me though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Had the water bill. Has gone up by a pound a month but water usage has gone down. So presumably that makes us better environmentally which is a win. Will do meter readings after to see if I'm.under the octopus prediction this month for gas and electricity. Our may estimate was 191 pounds so hopefully it's lessJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Spent 162 on gas and electricity. Estimated spend was 192. Still a long way to go with the electric but the gas has dropped right down.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

The good weather continues which is nice. Trying to do a low spend half term which seems to get harder as they get older. Been nice so far and will mix trips out with time.on the park or in the garden. Finances precarious as per usual but still plodding along.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Are you on half term this week? We're back today"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Kids school always does two weeks at this half term as opposed to spreading out the inset days. It's nice cos it's always good weather but no holiday clubs ever available for second week so have to rely on relatives and pulling a fast one aka winging it a bit with work..all works out on the end though.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Big spendy day. Whoops. Was planned but still ... Took pack lunch and drinks and extra drinks. Was very hot so bought the kids a cold drink each. Even water is expensive now. Just no getting away from these cost increases is there. It wasn't the water that broke the bank to be fair. Had a really good day, all tired out and tomorrow is planned as a film and crisps day.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Ah, nice to have a 2 week break!
Everything is so expensive now"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Almost a nsd. But needed bread. Cheaper day than yesterday though. Also childcare bills, leavers trips and everything else school related paid up till my next payday. General banking admin/being organised stuff. Productive, necessary but not so exciting! At work the rest of this week so no big spends hopefully. Plan is to plod till payday now on the 26thJan 18 Joint debts 35,213
