Thanks jwil. It helps to have someone have a look at it for me when it's so many things going on at once.

I pad money won't be needed till August/September time next year. The current intake paid £550 each. My aim is to save for at least one of them if I can in order to avoid signing up to the credit agreement. But it's not essential to have that money at this stage is it. So I'll leave it where it is but not panic over it for now.

When I've reflected on my post what stands out is too many things on the go at once and that the money is being paid out to trades i.e. not c card which can be used in a dire emergency type spends. I'll  aim to cash flow the roof repair which will be the first job to pay for by doing cheap shops and things (if the roofer can gain access past the roadworks that is!) and after that one step at a time. The plasterer is booked for after payday so that helps and  I'll leave the c card till very last as of them all it's the one thing I can owe money to without affecting someone's business 😂

Oh and not good news for eldest but financially a bonus. We put his name down for a school trip £30. It was oversubscribed and his name wasn't pulled in the ballot so the money is being returned to us over the next few days. So that and my silly phone games earnings means there's already £50 in the pot for the roofer. Fingers crossed this will finally solve the damp patch....

Shame about the trip but good news about the refund!

    Rubbish cleared ✓.
    New toilet fitted ✓
Roofer -due this week or next weather dependent
    Plasterer- due November
Mattress -ignoring as we've turned it over.
Xmas fund, still there for now!

Budget -in total free fall. 😂. It's like being on an episode of that house building project ( on a much smaller scale!!) I can have a proper sit down when it's all settled and I've got some time to number crunch and organise it better

It's all progress though and not frivolous spending, so hopefully one offs!

So scores on the doors time. Debt has increased.

Credit card S currently 321 but expected to be 850 by month end (aiming for lower so I can rinse and repeat using our shopping/petrol budget)
Credit card C -1159 ,this is new and is interest free for 6 months. Will pay minimums then decide what to do after Xmas.
Credit cards t1 and T2 - 2138 and 2615. Both defaulted not paying anything at moment waiting till they ask!
Xmas fund still intact. Xmas shopping -my head is to full to consider this. Need a few days chill out first

So not quite had the chill out time yet. Work has been mega full on. One of the kids is sick but it's DH turn to ring work and say can he be off as as it's less than two weeks since I had to take time off for the eldest one being ill. They are recovering well but as they vomited we have the 48hr rule to contend with. DH today and I can WFH tomorrow. Hopefully if anyone else is sick they do it over the weekend
