Keeping afloat till I can get round to the debts!

Thanks jwil. It helps to have someone have a look at it for me when it's so many things going on at once.
I pad money won't be needed till August/September time next year. The current intake paid £550 each. My aim is to save for at least one of them if I can in order to avoid signing up to the credit agreement. But it's not essential to have that money at this stage is it. So I'll leave it where it is but not panic over it for now.
When I've reflected on my post what stands out is too many things on the go at once and that the money is being paid out to trades i.e. not c card which can be used in a dire emergency type spends. I'll aim to cash flow the roof repair which will be the first job to pay for by doing cheap shops and things (if the roofer can gain access past the roadworks that is!) and after that one step at a time. The plasterer is booked for after payday so that helps and I'll leave the c card till very last as of them all it's the one thing I can owe money to without affecting someone's business 😂Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Oh and not good news for eldest but financially a bonus. We put his name down for a school trip £30. It was oversubscribed and his name wasn't pulled in the ballot so the money is being returned to us over the next few days. So that and my silly phone games earnings means there's already £50 in the pot for the roofer. Fingers crossed this will finally solve the damp patch....Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Shame about the trip but good news about the refund!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2
