When it says active direct debits do they have to be paid out every month or would say every three months do? I am using spare credit cards and less often would be easier?
Thanks

Can't answer for how TSB define "active direct debit" but I have been successful elsewhere with a transferred DD paying annually.0

Waiting for TSB to figure out I already have an account with them and 'merge' the online profiles - they now acknowledge this on their application process which I didn't think used to be the case?0

@BeachNut
Applied evening of Thursday 16th February.
Card arrived Tuesday 21st
Pin arrived Wednesday 22nd
Activation code arrived Thursday 23rd
Am switching next Friday - 3rd March. Previous TSB customer and had old login details, but have switched to the new details I created as part of the application. Believe new and old detail will get merged in due course, but I'm now using new details (account didn't show on old details and I wanted to do some debit spends making sure they cleared in February and that I could see transactions - £5 promotion) I guess I can park old details, at least for now.Mortgage and debt free. My details took 10 days to merge, and I still had to prod them. I can now see both TSB accounts in the app. If there are any (even tiny weeny) discrepancies they won't merge. I still can't see my new account inbox or new card though, and my new online login details don't show the old inbox or card so now need another couple of days for the team to look at that.1

I've just noticed it says on the T&C's that "a full switch means you need to transfer all active credits and debits from your oldaccount and close it. This must include a minimum of two active Direct Debits".
The account I'm switching from didn't have any active direct debits. I was just going to set up 2 direct debits on this new account once made. Is it too late?0 -
The offer ends 24 March.
If you think that you need to move two DD's from the doner account that have paid out then there is probably just enough time to get DDs set up to do this. (I did this).
If you think that 2 DDs need to be set up on the doner account without them paying out then that's doable.
If you think that you just need to set up 2 DDs on the TSB account then that's easy.
Take your pick, or go ask TSB.

I'll just have to go with the hope that it's the latter and I can just set up 2 DD's on the TSB account, as I've already initiated the switch and it's due to be complete on the 28th of this month!0
